Somehow I liked the twists in their plans, on the other hand I couldn't stand the dumb comedy.

Prison School is story-driven comedy kino. I remember being in tears from laughter as Charles Darwin passed by the screen when Kiyoshi was putting together his ass man argument. I was blown away by how organically they wove the Chairman's big butt pornography addiction into the narrative. It wasn't just funny, it was like a resounding cry of victory that was built up to and justified perfectly.

The anime ended on a perfect note, and I know the manga goes downhill for a long arc, but I still want a season 2.

only complaint would be that it was too rushed and failed to convey the tension and gravity of the situations, which in turn boosted the hilariousness of the manga. Everything happened too fast, so the impact felt weaker overall. It sort of lacked the grandiloquence
