Thank god I'm not. Though it's sad knowing all cells to every anime out there are scattered and we'll never be able to experience anime at the resolution they were drawn.

I miss VHS sometimes. The smell, if you can dig it. The smell of a warm tape is like nothing else.

I have an S-VHS player, & it doubles the video clarity of any tape you play on it. Going back & re-experiencing tapes on that thing makes me realize VHS didn't suck, but that everybody had shit VCRs.

You don't lie. My last VCR was one of those ones that was a combi-tech with the TV that I bought in 1994. Ghetto as fuck but it worked without a flaw up until about 2003.

It's the built in Time Base Corrector those sets had built into them. My VCR has a button to turn it on & off & you can see how badly seperated the colors are when you have it off.

TLDR: VHS is neat. I hope to own a laserdisc one day.
