I like Shirow's new style. I prefer his old style better, and I miss the mecha, but the new stuff is still cool. GITS 2.0 was gorgeous.

The 3D CGI part is pretty disappointing. Shirow used to draw cool mechanical stuff and did it well. Also he doesn't do anything else besides erotic art these days... it's kind of a waste.

Probably can't remember the notes and the designs he did or he really wanted to do erotic stuff in the long time and took the earthquake as the sign to let loose. He still does stuff though like with the Pandora thingy with Rikudo and does Fire Emblem characters illustrations.

Aside Shirow and Urushihara are there other 'fallen' artists like these guys?

Don't forget that's a picture of a physical book taken at an angle, but beside that I could see the difference in perspective being simply the character leaning back and jutting her chest out. That said something is still off about the proportions; I think her ribcage is maybe a rib too long, and I don't think the stomach muscles are following the spine properly.

Depends on what you mean by 'fallen,' I think Shirow's earned the right to do whatever. Maybe Range Murata? I might just be out of the loop though. Personally I'm most disappointed in Ugetsu Hakua's diminished output.
