Jump put this sequel in its most obscure manga magazine that has been rebranded about 3 times already due to lack of popularity.

And this manga magazine used to be only published 4 times a year so right now, are we only going to get 4 chapters a year because I highly doubt this manga magazine will be published monthly since Jump already has Monthly Jump Square and this manga magazine on the other hand doesn't have the circulation numbers to justify it being changed into a monthly.

Also, the lack of fanfare for a classic hit like Ichigo 100 percent shows Jump isn't really counting on this sequel to move tanks.

If Jump was really confident, they would try to get this sequel to take TLR Darkness's spot in Jump Square but the fact they didn't, isn't a good sign at all.

I would be more accepting of a sequel if the author devoted 100 percent time on it but she currently has a Baseball Manga going on I believe so I don't really like how she is treating her masterpiece classic manga this way by lazily releasing an 18 page sequel that no one really asked for.

If she wanted to make a good sequel, she wouldn't be working on something else and the first chapter of the sequel after several years since the prequel ended should have at least more than 30 pages at least.

Instead, we just get 18 pages, a Manaka look-alike who even has a similar sounding name, and a forced strawberry panties scene even though in Ichigo 100%, Aya jumped down from a safer height, and here she falls down from a ladder in a bookstore which should have been replaced a long time ago by the store manager in fear of a lawsuit and all the bookstores I went too in real life, all have the ladders stay Employee Use Only because the store rather the employee get your books for you in high places rather than the customer because there is less risk and trouble for the store that way.
