Rello got to the last chapter released in japan and had to start to translate one chapter by week, then he dissapeared some chapters after that and never got back.

The hype kind of died because of that, it makes sense, we used to get three chapters each few days, it was fun.

Yeah, it was a little weird that Vamirio didn´t burn it to make sure that it stays dead, I hope that it´s actually down for good and what is happening now is a parting gift of Mikaros.


It may be that killing the king activates a special magic that makes them fuse with each other into a single overpowered being, it would be neat if Helck and Vamirio aren´t able of defeating it even fighting together and they are saved by Azudora´s technique that ends turning it back to normal.

Wild Arms, maybe?(I beat it nearly 20 years ago, and don't fully recall the details, but I think the last boss was a disembodied torso or something that wasn't as big as the previous boss).
Though you could probabl argue that Chrono Trigger & SF3's final bosses weren't really harder than the penultimate ones.

Can't think of a 5th. Maybe it's more of a general Japanese game thing, than one with RPGs in particular.

The "final fight" has been going on for like 20 chapters or some shit now, it's really boring and most people seem to not care about it anymore and just want it to all wrap up and be done with. It almost reminds me of Nardo Shitpuden with the retardedly lengthy final battle

Things look bad for the main characters, the final boss seems stronger than Helck (unless he actually becomes a monster too) and they can´t kill it, since it seems to be the combination of all humanity into a single being, with the king gone it will not come back to life and humans will perish for sure.

Also if this was Mikaros doing, he was even a bigger asshole than I thought, Rafaed helped him because he thought that humans could survive in the new world this way, but at the end humanity would have been destroyed by being turned into this thing without a chance of creating a new society like the demons did.

Actually the final battle has been ten chapters so far, it started when they got into the audience hall and Cless appeared.

Helck has mostly short arcs, the only other long one was Helck past and we read that one in a few days, maybe it would be better to read the whole arc together once it´s done.
