If we say Estarossa was around 200 in the flashback, Mel should be at least 50 years older. And Zeldris was about 70 when Mel betrayed the demons.

While Nakaba can create great female characters, i think he sometimes goes too far with damsel in distress tropes for main heroines. Both Hinako from KB and Elizabeth from NNT are the least interesting members of character cast. Which is hilarious as Liz seems to be absolutely god-tier even judging by small screentime he gave her.

The two kings did say that they would train the two so presumably they must have powered up during the flashback adventure, since they didn't really do much else. King was surprised at how fast he was in Glox's body so the wings might give him a speed boost at least. Not sure how Diane could have powered-up, unless just being in Dolor's body gave her knowledge about dancing or something. Or maybe getting her memories back helps. Or maybe something happened off-screen while King was sleeping.

The problem with Meliodas' backstory is that when that gets revealed, it'll also reveal (original) Elizabeth's backstory, given that she's gaining godess clan powers it's a reasonably safe assumption that she'll regain her memory of her previous incarnations, so in order for Nakaba to show us Meliodas' origins the story needs to be in a place to show us Elizabeth's as well.
