I read the manga before the anime due to constant recommendations, but I never really felt any excitement from it, but the anime really is great with its soundtrack. These episodes feel so fast, and the manga will probably read better now after the anime has established the world and hype.

The quirk would mix and match, and because his quirk is composite, it would probably combine with the other parent's quirk, unless they only inherited Half-Cold Half-Hot, which is possible.

People have brought up water-controlling quirk, for example, and I would say that the kid would be able to only make ice, scalding water and steam, but would probably be unable to use fire.

You gotta remember that his quirk is a singular one, it isn't really about 2 quirks stacked on top of each other.

It would probably be temporary stealing (in Monoma's case, at least). Something like draining their quirk factor dry for five minutes while copying the power temporarily.

Simultaneously it is a better and a worse ability than Monoma's, because you can't really use it on your friends, but on the other hand it's super-effective on opponents.

She would need to also dislodge the rider she touched from their team-mates then apply an upward force to propel them off the ground (otherwise they would float in place and could easily use their quirks to recover). Also attacks that dislodge the rider are against the rules.

Realistically, for that strategy to work, she would need to touch every member of the team and get a team mate to then knock them upwards now that they're weightless. Problem is that doing all of that to multiple teams AND not getting your headband stolen while being chased from every angle would be quite hard to do.

BNHA doesn't have the same shock factor...which is probably why it's unlikely it'll get as big. But, it's still doing well.
