I rate it highly because of the twists it throws at you. I also fell in love with the universe it's set in. It's a dystopian future but it seems welcoming and better than our world is. I like that the world is focused on science.

It was a helluva ride.

I suspect Nihei put all his attention on the setting and the autistic trivia and he let his editor to write the actual plot and like most Japanese editors, all he know about is cookie cutter otaku crap + haremshit
