I find it suspicious that no trailers or images have so much as hinted at Akira yet though. Right now my current speculation is that it will cover the Angelo, Nijimura Brothers and Yukako / Love Deluxe arcs, possibly rearranged so that Nijimura brothers and Love Deluxe happen first so that Angelo can be the main bad guy of the movie.

i liked kakyoin, i wished he had survived. like the other anon said, it was clear araki didn't know what to do with him, but if he hadn't died i don't think it would have impacted the plot particularly negatively. maybe he could have done some cool shit in later parts.
fugo just fucking off with no resolution (until purple haze feedback) was the weakest part of part 5 for me and one of the only times in the series i would say it had genuinely terrible writing, araki either shouldn't have pussied out in making him turn into an enemy, or just never have had him leave.
i don't like the reset in part 6 much either but i don't know what could have been done differently or where the series could have gone without it

First off, Kak's death is the conclusion of his character arc. But most importantly, JoJo is, before anything else, a battle manga.
The stands of the crusaders simply don't fit on the on the other parts. Jotaro gets time stop so he can be a recurring character, but Polnareff and Kakyoin don't have defined abilities. Polnareff in Part 5 barely gets to use SC before it goes Requiem. HG wouldn't work on a "modern" Stand battle.
Unless it were an arc like Cheap Trick or something.
