I don't get it. In the timeline where she attacks them, she says "full body, ability" when Kei tells Haruki to reset and before she resets. So she should have kept her memories. But then she didn't keep her memories of that time.

Alright at this point I think it's fair to say that this show is absolute ass. I've never seen a concept so good butchered so horribly.

1) The characters are emotionless. All of them. Even the ones that smile. Don't even care about them, let alone keep track of their countless powers and deaths.

2) Writing and dialogue is so fucking boring, it's mostly exposition for the plot and even interaction between the main duo is empty.

These two lead into boredom, which is bad for a show that wants you to notice its detail and keep up with events from previous episodes. The details are pretty straightforward but are presented in a way that makes it so people in these threads have to keep asking "What happened?" This is the mark of a truly bad show, when your details are missed not because of convolution but boredom.

Anybody who says this is a "thinking man's" show obviously has way too much time on their hands.

No, the writing certainly has a philosophical themes to it, especially the philosophy of ethics. The MC is someone I can call the absolute good. He can sacrifice himself for the others, he wishes to help every needing creature. And not because he is simply kind or for selfish desires but because it's the right thing to do, he wishes to be a virtuous person and actually puts the effort into becoming one. But I do agree the author is bad at applying his ideas.

I don't agree. Would you care to elaborate what makes them emotionless? The rest of the characters make decisions based on emotions. The only one I will agree that is pretty emotionless is Haruki but that is done purposely because of her past and kei is somewhat too but that's because he's like Haruki and his friend even said that in episode 1.

I find the writing and dialogue extremely interesting and the interaction between the main duo is unique and not something you see very often in anime at all. The main duo has it's charm. You get to see Haruki gain more emotions and discover more things while you have kei teach her new things.

That assumptions kind of questionable since we've never seen Megane's ability time out on anything that's moved after she's erased part of it. The only physicall examples so far are the gravel by the river and the handprint holes in the town walls which were both stationary. It's possible that she could displace someone's hand and eventually the hand would just fade back in regardress of location.

It's a bit odd since she's not actually destroying things but instead temporaraly suspending them by some unknown process. .
