Perhaps you're just not reading closely enough. Not only are there straight up errors where the translator left alternate interpretations of a line and the typesetter typeset both possible interpretations (Execute Punish,) a large majority of the lines sound incredibly awkward and would never be spoken by a native speaker. This has been the general trend with the translation for this series.

Lines such as, "I told you how important a thing the AMBs are, didn't I?" should never make it past any sort of proofreading, much less quality check.

Anons give Nihei a hard time about his art evolution but he's improved a lot drawing people. Etherow is handsome.

Has nihei given up on black? I personally don't dislike his post-sidonia style with only white and halftones, but at least in sidonia there were tons of opportunities for darker outer space shots to balance it out a little.
