Why did they make a second Afro Samurai game six years after the last one? It was apparently dogshit but I never understood why they bothered in the first place.

No no man, the TV series got adapted into a movie with more footage in it, which is now what makes it the go to thing for the first film. The 2nd film, the sequel Resurrection, came out after it in movie format.
