This show became shit the moment the gorilla showed up. Nothing interesting happened afterwards and even the show itself pointed this out. This is one of the few shows I dropped. I got to from beyond and just couldn't be assed anymore. The story became predictable and dull, and with the poor animation on top of that made it not worth watching further.

inb4 some retard thinks animation is the same as art style, but in terms of art style it's also pretty low quality and generic, which some may argue is the point, but as is with most parody-based works, the parody oftentimes pales in comparison to the original work.

This show just plays out all the generic shit we've all seen when we were eight. If you've ever watched any sentai show ever, you've seen samurai flamenco. Fucking blow me if you think otherwise. There's nothing great or interesting about this show. The characters stop being characters the moment gorilla shows up. They become pointless cliches used to poorly string along a story we've all seen before. The only clever thing they did since king gorilla was a fucking joke about the most worthless character only recruiting a bunch of red ranger types, and even then the joke itself fucking fails because the characters themselves are clearly meant for different roles, they only think they're meant to be red.

But /a/ praises shit and raises it on a golden fucking toilet, so it doesn't surprise me at all that people will defend and praise such utter crap.
