I like both arcs about equal, but one thing I recently noticed I like in Skypiea over Enies Lobby is how the fights were kinda nonstandard. In EL everyone just pulled some new trick out of their ass to win. In Skypiea it was less of that and more just trying to survive, and then some of them get zapped by Enel and go down for the remainder of the arc anyway. And I think Nami is a bit underrated in this arc. She actually holds her own against Enel using her own weather abilities, she uses the impact dial, she's riding a waver up the beanstalk, etc. I don't know, it's just an arc where I find something new to appreciate every time I go through it.

Literally that one arc which made people drop the series.

Brook really shines this arc so that's a good thing.
But we're at the climax right now so depending on how Oda handles this part it could turn this arc from a meh to a pretty good.

i fucking despised skypiea. I only watch the anime, but it felt like EVERY EPISODE was dragging. Nothing happened. I ended up just wiking the summary and never finishing it.

If we include Jaya, the Skypeia arc is one of the best examples of light hearted adventure "romance" in One Piece compared to the heavy crew division drama going down in Water 7.

The Shandians are pretty shitty though.
