Best looking girl by far
Would he have been a better successor to All Might?
With a master like pic related definetly not
she can't even compete with Hagakure when it comes to looks.
Excited for more of mindfuck animated, now if only he were relevant in the manga
Being a hero means knowing when it's the wrong and right time for action.
her moment at the license exam was nice. she a best. talking about that and >>156331832
i wonder why hori teamed up some regular groups (blasty brigade, invisixtail, the freaks) but alien, grapes, tentacle and frop were just thrown randomly on their own. heck what was the point of having BASED tapebro with DekuChako if he's a blasty brigade member? wouldnt be better having frop or even the grapist tagging along?
>frogfu will never read you twilight fanfiction with that stupid voice of hers while jerking you off
maybe it's better to just end it now
The whole class was trying to stay together (minus Todoroki and Bakugo that left to do their own thing and Kirishima that followed), but they got split by the chaos so they just stuck with whoever was closer. They managed to regroup a bit near the end.
I'm so curious as to why Hori decided to use this particular team up. I really can't wait to see some interaction between them. And I specifically can't wait to see if there's going to be battles together between them. I want combine attacks
Yeah but it also shows he lacks the same kind of spirit All Might has. If you look here >>156331745
Deku has the exact same mentality as All Might whereas Mirio has nighteye's. This whole thing is just further proof that All Might made the right decision Deku is the kind of person that All Might would want to succeed him. Mirio isn't.
I don't think so it's a pretty obvious comparison. Both Deku and All Might could only think of helping those in need directly at that time even if it wasn't the best tactical decision because that's the kind of people they are. Whereas Nighteye and his protege both were willing to forgo the immediate issue so they could follow through with their already laid out plan. I'm not trying to paint one as the better option simply pointing out that Deku and mirio's choice exactly mirror the same position their mentor's had over All Might's retirement.
Character building for rock dude that speaks to animals and sugar dude when, they might aswell be moved to class b at this point
Why is this guy so popular with fujos again?
the religious fashion in which they've been adapting from the manga
>Eri gets saved by Deku
>she clings to him because he's the first person who ever helped her
>dekumom likes her and pretty much adopts her
>Eri now has a good family and Deku has a cute imouto
this is what she deserves and no one can convince me otherwise
yes but consider that the exams aren't exactly an ideal arc to end one since it doesn't have a final boss feel to them and we don't know when we'll get a 3rd season.
>Suffer because your kid's spontaneous quirk makes his bones explode and he's constantly attacked by villains
>Suffer because your adopted kid has a valuable quirk and she's constantly under threat of kidnap
I want Midomom to be happy
That week was the week Kochikame ended after its 40 year publication. Many of the Jump series included his signature eyebrows in their chapters as a tribute.
so seeing how toga change from liking stain to liking izuku so quickly , do you think she'll change to liking someone else like shiggy or dabi or maybe even ilda when he fights the stain fanboys and try's to prove that stain was wrong
I still can't really believe shinsou got 20 place in the popularity poll, more than any other character introduced in the Licence exam arc, when he was the new character with the least panel time.
trade sadrock for monoma. and when sugarlips dies shinsou could get a promotion
Please no she's my favorite look at those eyes
And Ochako was spot on.
Something I have noticed about her is that she's really observant of people. There have been several instances in the manga where she has noticed things about others that the rest of her class didn't, like with Tsuyu after the rescue arc, or Bakugou several times already. I mean, not even Deku realized that Bakugou would hate being rescued by his classmates (Kirishima, like he guessed, being the exception).
Fallen Angels has scanlated the series the longest, but the early chapters have really funky translation issues until shit got sorted out. Mangastream picked up the series at some point too, and Viz translations also come out some time after.
Which group decides to go full retard depends on the scene. Sometimes Viz is the only correct one, other times Viz has the blandest translation possible.
>Which group decides to go full retard depends on the scene
Ah, so there is no real best option.
Well, thanks for the heads up. I appreciate it.
Because I'm drastically smarter than you.
we barely have any attachment with these new pro heroes or any of the big 3 , so it to be ether grand terino , eraserhead , kiri, tsyu, ochako , or maybe even all might get involve and dies
Scenes that made you cry
Uraraka Ochako is EXTREMELY POWERFUL.
She is an incredibly sweet girl. I want to tend her to her emotional wounds.
Which Class A girl is most likely to be a fujoshi?
Which Class A boy is most likely to be a fudanshi? And who do you think they would ship the most?
Stop this meme immediately.
It wasn't stated anywhere but all might has 6/5 durability and he took some massive hits from AfO head on not to mention he traded punches with Nomu who was capable of doing shit like this to Aizawa
Does some sort of earth manipulation quirk exist that I'm forgetting? With the introduction of the Last Airbender it seems all of the elemental powers are taken.
Kirishima x Kacchan is far cuter and you know this to be true!
Wait drill girl is redhead?
Is Kohei Horikoshi capable of making a female character less than 10/10?
The official translations kinda suck though. And not in a "they don't have honorifics therefore they are butchering the original" version, more of a "they fuck up speech bubbles and mistranslate shit almost as much as the unofficial scans."
This one, also the page that made me love Uraraka. At first I didn't want her to win the Dekubowl because how generic she was, but the last chapters before this page showed me how human she was, impossible not to like and root for her after that.
It's not as bad as speedscans and they don't use shit tier filters on every page so I'm ok with that.
I mean, you said it - "Almost as much as the unofficial scans" - A 6/10 is still miles above a 2/10 and I don't mind waiting.
His quirk is actually just "Softness" in general
lmaoing at your shit taste
>Bakugou angrily answering the question correctly
I prefer Fallen Angels, they make mistakes too but they tend to be understandable ones. And I like the heart they put into it, although the quality has been slipping lately.
The translator for the official volumes can't seem to figure out the tone of a sentence from the context, so every sentence ends with a period. It makes all the dialogue feel really flat. Little things like that + big things like fucking up who is talking + mistranslations.
How could anyone hate the best boy?
Would you let him give you a massage /a/?
>big things like fucking up who is talking
Has that really happened with this WSJD scanlation?
Fuck, I'm about to just put it off until my Japanese is good enough to read it myself.
I just like All Might flashbacks and heroism though
I have the first few official volumes and they do it at least 1/volume. The translation really turned me off from picking them up at full price.
>Fuck, I'm about to just put it off until my Japanese is good enough to read it myself.
That's the thing--apart from kanji puns ("Eightfold Cleansers") and pop culture references, it's written at a typical shonen level. It's not a hard series to read at all. I dunno how they make so many mistakes.
Is Hori joking around, or is that guy actually considered hot in-universe? Have quirks warped the world so much that a skelly-faced guy can make panties drop?
>Implying All Might would even consider leaving scared loli in hands of known criminal
I sure as fuck hope not.
Elemental powers are the most boring overused super power you can give anyone and leaves no room for creativety or fun since they are always busted as fuck.
Im 90% sure that Oda just gave up on trying to balance that shit in One Piece and just made a category for all the elemtental based powers after Luffys fight with Enel that because know as the logia fruits.
At least Dekus super strength has self inflicting damage.
>Great, Grapefag kills himself
Wait what? what happened to grapelet?
That's called "being smart", not "being a hero".
Charging into a burning building not even firefighters will enter is dumb. But sometimes, being a hero means doing dumb things.
Can AfO take OfA?
What if OfA was accidentally given to someone evil. Deku could have been a psychopath, who knows, All Might only knew him for five minutes.
So what if Deku was crazy and gave OfA to AfO?
Well obviously, because he was the number 1 hero and actually had the abilities to back up his "save everyone" philosophy. But this is two kids versus a giant ex-yakuza. The circumstances are completely different.
>desperate Miriokek samefags to spread rumors of my demise
I was being quiet because I have a fever, but this >>156334839 post was all me.
All Might made Deku his successor because he didn't overthink things and showed the true value of a hero, even though he endangered himself and made the rescue operation more difficult.
Deku is certainly more heroic in All Mights eyes than Mirio.
Why is he so perfect?
Iida would be a great husband and dad once he chills out a little bit.
I acrually want this to happen. I just really want Deku to punch people again.
What's wrong with your face? Is it your total facial structure or is there anything we can fix?
Why do they look so good together?
>generic passionate redhead shounen character #4522
Is there a more popular archetype?
>ywn be in the middle of a Kendou sandwich
I miss him.
>tfw you realise Kirishima used his workplace experience just like Uraraka vs Toga
Rereading this manga once in a while makes it so much more fucking enjoyable
That would be helpful, I'm a speedreader and I barely remember anything except his quarrel with Todoroki.
jesus christ the hype of this arc is off the charts, i feel like a kid.
Dude only pony and shroom are not 10/10.
I want to see Shroom's quirk, dammit.
>has to deal with meatboy, Inasa, and
>his hair is everywhere and impossible to wash
>he probably stinks a lot
>he probably has no friends
>the aforementioned wankers are a constant source of problems
>then a random kid walks up to him and asks pic related
Moura's life is suffering
Being a hero means taking action even when your own life is in danger for the sake of others. You also have to weigh the cost of others who would be in danger of your actions. Point is it is not easy being a real hero.
when the traitor is revealed it's going to affect izuku ability to trust others and since him and shiggy mirror eachother , expect someone to betray shiggy as well around the same time , leaving shiggy unable to trust his men problably causing his down fall . and the way i see it ochako the only student with a rival/counterpart in the league with toga, and it would both affect izuku the most and strengthen the parallels with shiggaraki
>Deku had his arm brace all the way back then
man, I feel like a retard for not noticing it until the most recent chapter
why does Best boy continue to Best boy ?
Describe your favorite hero in one word. GO
no drawing from archvermin = no 10/10
Shiggy doesn't trust them. He's always one short fuse away from disintegrating them anyway. The likeliest to turn on him is that one who is super into Stain's ideals honestly. I forget his name though.
Kendou, shroom, kitaro and Yui.
>tries to cheer up villain who just shot him and Suneater
>when fighting said villain, Kirishima's first thought is to make him focus all his attacks on him so that no civilians would get hurt
>afterward, Kirishima still tries to cheer up the villain
>tries to cheer up Suneater
>always tries to include Bakugou whenever there's a group event happening
>alwats hangs out with Bakugou, despite his negative reputation
>sees the good and potential on everyone
Name one (1) purer character than Kirishima.
>implying he wouldn't try to save her even in his current state
Anon, thinking like this you would never become Symbol of Peace
What would happen if he tried to save her and failed?
He wouldn't save her using violence though he'd probably try to talk her out of there
The one thing i fucking hate about this series is that the villians are all over the top steotypical villains. Even their designs are edgy as fuck.
Where is my subtle villain whose motivations are arguably good.
Uraraka's literally the only contender.
Lex Luthor is a retarded, incredibly egoistical man baby that deludes himself into thinking that his goals are for the best of mankind and that any and all methods are justified to reach them.
The only way you're going to be able to make sense of Boku no Hero Avademia is if you have a "Literal as fuck" translation and read it side by side a typical translation.
I don't get the FA shilling though, FA is like the bastard child of Viz and MS, whereas MS can be relied on to be TOO literal and Viz leans more towards a liberal translation FA picks and chooses, seemingly arbitrarily, what is literal and what is liberal.
Take this translation comparison - the dialogue here in chapter 134 can be read in past tense OR present tense depending on context, with Viz naturally opting for past tense since Izuku is narrating and MS opting for the more literal present tense based on the text alone.
FA opts for a weird "past and present" tense combination that feels like a bizarre compromise - it's not any more accurate, and it doesn't commit enough to stand.
"Lukewarm" is how I'd describe FA - FA has no strengths or even sense.
I've asked before, but it was late at night and I never really got an answer.
Are there are good Deku x Uraraka doujin that need scanning?
I don't follow this fandom too much, but I really like the pair.
1. All Might
if the germaphobe yakuza took off his mask he'd look pretty normal
Also Lex is a petty cunt, he's the worst example.
Even when Superman isn't around for him to sperg out over he doesn't use his genius for the benefit of mankind.
I hope they quietly get together a fair while before the actual end of the series
Man what will it be like for Uraraka to lose her virginity while staring into the eyes of a poster of All Might, laying on All Might bed sheets, surrounded by a crowd of All Might figurines?
God her quirk is so shit though, it kinda wastes her 10/10 design.
Fun fact: Autism is about misreading social cues.
You think anyone who says something you don't like is mad.
You are misreading social cues.
So, what's it like having actual autism?
With the increasing amount of shonen where the main pair confess early, I imagine that Hori will go down the same path.
especially considering this is an eastern take on a western genre where relationships are common place.
Ok, what about a Dr. Doom kind of villain? He legitimately think's his actions are benefiting mankind and the Wakandan panther god confirmed there's only one timeline where all of the Marvel universe is a paradise, and it's the one where Doom finally rules everything.
Of course he literally became God for a while and managed to fuck that up, but whatevs
Doom usually ends begin too cool and reasonable, so (((writers))) have to remind us that he's bad guy, mkay?
Just like with Red Skull speech that had to be followed shahid vests, so poor goys won't be confused who is bad guy.
If there's a class B student I'm curious about, it's this dude. I'm sad he'll probably never get more development than a name and a few background appearances.
Joint classes arc when?
oh, you guys know me well :)
Yeah, I agree that Magne is the most neutral-looking one. Twice too, in his attire at least. But I still want Hori bend that trope somehow. A smiling, goofy-looking villain that doesn't wear dark colors or something like that, I don't know.
>A smiling, goofy-looking villain that doesn't wear dark colors or something like that
I just got here and that was the first post I even made in this thread. Fuck off grapefag.
I have no source but he probably just said he created them as a set. It's very common in shonen since there always needs to be a "main" girl to serve as romantic interest. That doesn't mean much though, Ichigo and Rukia were also a set if I recall correctly and look how that ended up.
