Will KyoAni ever make another complex anime?

hyouka
the dialogue was 2deep4/a/

Haruhi wasn't really complex but still too much for half of /a/, even though some of the developments are spelled out for the watcher.
The anime community is the worse out there, seriously.

>The anime community is the worse out there, seriously
Well I mean the majority are teenagers, autists, third-worlders without proper education, or some combination of the three. You can't exactly hold them to a very high standard all things considered.
>haruhi
>hyouka
>complex

I really don't see why people take this buzzword so seriously. Complex doesn't mean good, in fact the research for complexity and sophistication is what often makes a story bad or worse because the writer can't tie in everything or the watchers miss some of the stuff.
Phantom World
I still don't understand why S2 broadcast quality was SO fucking shitty and blurry.

To make Disappearance look better in comparison.

S2 looks great though. Except the hand shots, obviously.

And a majority of the remainder are self-assured pseudo-intellectuals who confused not having to study in public school with actually being intelligent.
When they get another good 3rd party IP for Ishihara. People don't realize it but Ishihara is the only one that can get KyoAni back to its roots. Takemoto has focused too much on comedy and he's not even that good at it anymore. Yamada is a great director but her kind of works are not the kind that become iconic, and are most of the time pretty juvenile. K-on is very popular and a masterpiece but not as iconic as Haruhi or Lucky Star. Ishihara's works always feel to me like they're at least trying to be kind of transcendental. Ishidate is good but, again, not the transcendental kind.

Good job if that was intentional.

Just a typo because I'm underfedand retarded.

Even if not transcendental, they're the ones more likely to become iconic. His characters are the most fun ones. Rikka became a huge meme when Chuuni aired, Haruhi is a huge icon even today. Nichijou is a cult classic. Clannad is still remembered as a great drama. Hibike, besides being good, was very ambitious and I think Ishihara's involvement gave it that feeling of transcendence (see the fireworks scene in S2 Ep1). Phantom World is less of a cohesive story so there wasn't much chance of it being iconic or transcendental but I still think Ishihara did a great job with the chuuni aspect of the show and it being very high energy like Chuuni and Haruhi.
