It's not Greed that Subaru shows in Arc 4. He is jealously holding onto what he cares about. It's Envy/Jealousy all the way down. Especially in the WN, where he constantly assumes everyone is out to NTR him, and will even feel that way if he thinks they're in a relationship with girls he isn't even pursuing. He's even uncomfortable with leaving Otto alone with Emilia.

So, who do you think are the candidates for the visions she saw so far?

1- Description: Emilia is telling someone she hates and despises then in their entirety, saying she was always holding back on that thought, but now "the nightmare has caught up to me", so she said it. And a stream runs down her face when she says that maybe they should have never met.

2- Two voices are talking, she knows both of the voices, one is very familiar, and the other isn't but she does remember it. They are talking about having struck down someone, and that their wound is deep and they can't heal and that if they left the premises the person might die, the other voice implying it was just a child and that it was enough. One is kneeling and the other is looking down at the kneeling party, and both look morose. One of then says "You are a hero, and that's all you can ever be". The other voice doesn't know how to respond, and then one of them responds with "Why thank you so very much for your help!", which i really don't understand cause it came out of nowhere. One of then reaches out their hand to the other, and turns their face away, and then it apparently signifies a final goodbye, " laced with only irreparable woe and disappointment." Emilia was apparently not present.

Why would Emilia be involved into something like that i wonder. I mean the story itself has implies that Reinhard will act out on the "justice" he thinks is right for the situation, or due to peer pressure.

Maybe it was a request from Emilia to kill someone? Or maybe the child "enemy" tried to do something to her, so in response Subaru as her knight went to catch then, and Reinhard went to help, only to mortally wound the child, when Subaru would have most likely just wanted to capture them.

Maybe it's not directly her fault, but it relates to her, because it involves her in some way.

I will find it weird as fuck if this is kept in the WN/LN, and not changed. An antagonist the size of an elementary school kid just sounds oddly funny, especially considering the way Pandora acts.

Two people she is involved with potentially ending up in a tragic situation due to one of her decisions.
The third trial is probably like the second trial in that all she has to do is rationalize that these are only potential shitty outcomes. Her involvement could be extremely minor but the trial is still going to show potential horrible scenarios based on random decisions.

Could maybe be Puck? In the WN when he recovered his memories he spoke in a manner very similar to Subaru's, or similar to someone from earth i guess? There's no voice in response to Emilia, but outside of Subaru an Puck, i don't see it being anyone else.

I guess it could also be Rem, maybe she grew jealous of her if she does end up waking up, and if she is not remembered when she awakes, it would fit the part of "always hated them".

It's not like we have a ton of Emilias internal monologues and we don't know the context of the situation that would bring to her say such things or what sort of minor resentment could have exploded into such a scenario based on events which probably will not occur.

I think Subaru is really the only character she knows in which she would have this sort of potential scenario with just by eliminating members of her camp in potential disaster routes

Maybe it's both? And the reality warp is limited in some way? I mean, Tappei said that if they all fought aside from Envy, Sekhmet would kill everyone in under a minute.

I assume that would be done by making the entire area around her a death zone, and Pandora doesn't actually die, but she instead just makes it seems like she did, due to illusion magic. I guess that if a bomb was dropped in the area she was in, she would die? Unless she could wish the bomb away, but i think that requires direct contact, since both times she used something akin to reality warp, she had to touch them. Regulus to make him go back to his house, and Emilia to forget her memories of the scenario and prior to that.

Regulus had a limitation, which was, everything he did since he went there to help was rewritten, like the wounds he inflicted on Petelgeuse, but Emilia didn't have nothing of the sort right? I guess memory manipulation wouldn't have a way to get a "side effect" to being erased or blocked. Or maybe there is, but it's not directly apparent?

I think he was indeed there. The whole outburt and the scene with her talking to him was exactly like Regulus would act.

So maybe her main shtick is illusion magic, but when she comes in contact with the person, she can use her reality bending on them.

She is otherwise defenseless i figure.

MU Emilia might have reasons to hate him precisely because she knows him. Or actually she does have plenty of reasons: general horrid personality through arcs 1-3, the whole fiasco in the palace, breaking promises in arc 4 (though the argument probably got him some plus points), in general it's not unreasonable that she could be uncomfortable with how he basically forced himself into her life, his reasons for loving her are still flimsy, and then you have all his witch shit and twotiming and Satella lust that has yet to hit the fan
Of course she'd be trying to be as nice as possible and appreciate that he's being kind to her, and would recognize that he's done good things, but ultimately it's easy to dislike Subaru, his core personality is pretty shit, and the way he acts around Emilia is creepy

Hell if Emilia found out about RbD and how he's been using it to essentially stalk-rescue-manipulate her that might jolt her a bit

Though I could imagine this working with the other party being Roswaal, but it's way more exciting for it to be Subaru

Perhaps she does and it may turn out that she's been lying about her being okay with helping Subaru wake Rem up the whole time?

She doesn't seem to be aware of the whole love business, but she definitely feels jealous from time to time, even if not maliciously, she unconsciously thinks that way, like when she sees Subaru and Rem basically flirting with each other before they leave for the capital in arc 3.

So she may be adverse to Rem because of her being so close to Subaru, but if her whole ignorance on love is true, she may not be aware of why. Hence why she would try to "push down the thought" in that vision. She dislikes her because of the place she occupies in Subaru's heart.

The only deal breaker for me is that she says "maybe it would have been better if we never met", and the tear falling down her cheek. That kinda signifies fondness or closeness doesn't it? She probably didn't want to have to say that. I guess they did become sorta friendly with each other later on, but enough to warrant a pained tear to run down her face? Not sure on that one.
