I for one, I'm liking how Akko is growing, unlike most of those shounen MCs, the whole background of Chariot and Croix and how everything is some sort of allegory to animation.

If there's ever a 2nd season, I still wouldn't want romance, but more Akko improving, more episodes dedicated the secondary characters and expading even more the background of the main trio/Chariot.

OVA 1 Diana was a completely different character from OVA 2 Diana. OVA 2 Diana was a more serious, honor student, "class rep" type of character. She didn't needlessly bully Akko and was portrayed as a total honor student that wouldn't break the rules. OVA 1 Diana bordered of American cartoon bully at times and it felt like her primary motivation was showing off. TV Diana is closer to OVA 2 Diana but also pretty damn different; they've made her much nerdier and feels a bit obsessed with magic. This thing about Croix that Ursula said probably also applies to Diana herself.
