Why Nagisa is better than Tomoyo:

1. Tomoya dies if he ends up with Tomoyo; with Nagisa he gets a happy family life
2. Nagisa helps Tomoya more with his family situation by letting him move in and making him communicate with his father; Tomoyo just tries to act like his dead mom and cook him food
3. Tomoyo is retarded and can't make the situation of being student council president work while dating Tomoya, and ends up making Tomoya miserable and self-loathing to the point that he has to dump her
4. Nagisa is pure and Tomoyo is a slut; you can get locked in the gym storage room with Nagisa, Kyou, or Tomoyo. Kyou and Tomoyo are both down to fuck but Nagisa has no clue what's going on because she is innocent
5. Tomoyo is a quitter. If she can't save the sakura trees she quits school, and when Tomoya dumps her she just accepts it and stays away for eight months. Nagisa is a hard worker and does her best to the point of dying from it.

6. Tomoyo has no real effect on Tomoya's character development. After he dumps her he just goes back to being a delinquent (they changed this in the anime to make him look better); Nagisa makes Tomoya become a better person.
7. Tomoyo has no real character development herself; she's the same at the end of her route as at the start. It only looks like she changed because her goal was accomplished. Nagisa undergoes a substantial transformation into being a stronger person.
8. Nagisa had great parents who are eventually the ones that get Tomoya to reconcile with his daughter and father. Tomoyo's parents are trash and only act like family once her brother tries to kill himself.
9. Nagisa is a better cook. In the game Tomoyo says she doesn't have a large cooking repertoire.
10. Tomoyo's story only exists to get light orbs to save Nagisa. So Nagisa wins not only in her own timeline but over all alternate universes.

Nagisa's autistic and not in an endearing way at all. Her parents and her boyfriend are infinitely better than her and she makes clannad a worse show. Tomoyo is the only decent love interest in entire thing anyway.
