Do you think she's still qualified as a magical girl?
No, no, she will, technically, be able to learn ice magic, not have it.
And if public completely forgets character development from ch50, it doesn't mean that ch 100, that relies on her being influenced by it to do right, isn't going to happen.
Reminder that even nips believe in the power of lettuce.
They are gaining attention, but last episode was better. I was hoping they'd introduce one more character this episode.
It was also trending on twitter (in Japan) today, it's the most used social media by anime fans because so many mangaka and anime staff have twitter accounts, not to mention all the fanartists. They post more often on twitter than on pixiv.
Increase in twitter followers for this week = people are getting interested in this anime original.
I'm saying this is pointless because you're using past 7 days info while new episode only aired hour ago.
Wait for few hours later and use one day info next time.
Doesn't matter, compare how it did between this and last week, it's pretty much flopped.
While I appreciate that they are exploring such topics like in this episode, and that it's nice they're establishing the rules of the setting, I'm afraid they might be taking the story in too much of a serious route.
This would be great in novel form, but it might turn off viewers who'll wait for some twist to happen until they decide to watch it again.
It's a sad world anon, sales matter and there are so many retards that have money and are willing to spend it. It won't affect the run of the anime, but it's still a nice idea and it would be a shame if it flops. The nips didn't have much to say on this episode.
>That's not even a meme.
Trying to define meme?
Memes are born here, copied to reedit by cross shitter, posted into 9gag by cancer, and shared into facebook by normalfag, and that's where anon see the former fun meme as cancer and stop posting it again. The cycle repeat.
>mfw in threads of anime with source material
>Meteora wishes her creator to be someone with passion and good faith for her and her world
I can only see Meteora finds out that her creatorS being nothing but soulless gaming industry slaves and going full mind breakdown
Let's spend an entire episode in Some Apartment and A Diner. Within a minute, the 'cliffhanger' from last week was dealt with by deus ex pegasus knight, and the entire rest of the episode was the characters spent on their asses talking. The protagonist wasn't even allowed to share a table at the diner with the big kids. They could've been going through the most compelling philosophical thoughts known to man (they weren't), or revealing bombshell after bombshell reveal (they weren't, and there's still no actual plot yet), and it still would've been a grueling, tedious episode of dullard morosely being dull. I guess this is what the show is when it doesn't bother to have even the paltry minute of action. Pure drivel.
>character made with stereotypical tumblr ugliness in the name of beauty and social justice.
>character comes to life.
>character proceeds to strangle creator for making him/her/it an abomination.
>tumblrite goes into hugbox realizing her creation is 'problematic' and not anything xey envisioned.
Japan puts so much effort into their emojis

>[Direct Capture Screen Rip] ReCreators - 03 [1080p].mkv
Do you think this will have an actual effect in her anime?
So if a vidya/VN comes to life and it has an anime, LN, and manga with differences of canon, how would that play out?
[HorribleSubs] Re-Creators - 03 [720p].mkv 224.2 MiB
What's different about her costume?
WHY IS THIS HORSE MAKING MOTORCYCLE SOUNDS
Not even similar, if anything, the eyes of Yuuya's rival look similar to his.
>I don't know this lady
Arm bracelets got added detail.
Gloves got a gold cuff.
Shoulder pads with gold detailing.
Black (gray?) panel on the sides of the torso.
Blue skirt halter-and-skirt thing became a tailcoat.
>tfw it actually is a motorcycle disguised as a horse
>tfw she actually come from the most technologically-advanced of the worlds
Big boss's hand is actually pretty powerful.
It use gravity bullet.
What would happen if characters from a real-life based SOL show get summoned?
One special already aired, it was the interviews with the staff, that program on the 1st of April.
Might be worth noting that for Aldnoah they called the recap episode a special and included it on the BDs, so since it's more or less the same staff we might get a recap episode here too.
Next to nothing. They would be powerless.
But a crossover with Eromanga Sensei would be good.
How will they deal with their shit they created?
Now that we have a higher quality screenshot, can somebody make an edit that says "Best Girl" on the mug?
Setsuna (刹那?) is a Japanese word meaning "a moment; an instant". The word came from a Buddhist term: せつな meaning "split second," which was imported from China (in Chinese character format: 刹那 chànà) but originated in India (in Sanskrit: क्षण ksana). It can also be used as a given name as-is, or with different kanji
>Selesia fought with Hime on the first episode
>Selesia fought with Mamika on the second episode
>Selesia wanted to fight with Yuya on the third episode
>somehow, in a mysterious manner, this is never her fault at all
Shit, this one
I told you this is Fate rip-off. Even characters agree with this.
I want to hug the smol librarian.
How would this guy react to being he himself is mangaka drawing manga in a manga
This IS an Amazon rip, plebs.
Because that's how x264 works. Since it's not dithered, doesn't have a lot of high motion scenes and there is a lot of repeated (or slightly different) frames, it will be compressed more efficiently resulting in a smaller size despite being the exact same quality. Amazon uses crf making the episodes variable in sizes but constant in quality unlike CR which uses 2pass making their episodes virtually identical in size but different in quality.
>Sota said that he is just the narrator
>WAHHH WHY ISN'T SOTA DOING ANYTHING?
Is she ruining the show for someone else? She just sits there to spout information with that expressionless face and annoying face. Fuck her.
I can't quote it precisely as it is because I don't have the file. From what I watched on TV, I remember the line was something rather like 'I won't let him interfere in our destiny again'. My memory might be wrong but that sub has an issue, because 'our destinies'(plural) sounds plain odd in Japanese
>illustrator examines her own character's clothes to figure out how her bullshit designs work in reality
That's kind of funny.
And also interesting, because it begs the question of how the details in their character settings get "filled in" when they're not explicitly detailed by the creators. Marine obviously isn't a professional fashion designer so she doesn't know exactly how tailoring works but when Selejia became real the stitching on her clothes somehow worked themselves out anyways.
> not appreciating her soothing voice
Hime is so cool.
I actually find her super refreshing, because her style of infodumping is, I don't know, more realistic than most?
Most of the time the smart character just throws out a few assumptions that everyone takes to be correct and later they're validated but Meteora always throws out multiple theories about their situation and specifies "but this is just going off of what we currently know" and the writers are pretty on the ball with making her speculations match what the viewers are actually wondering too.
>the writers are pretty on the ball with making her speculations match what the viewers are actually wondering too
This, their sense of foresight as to our own speculation is really good.
Now I want Jotaro to show up in reality so we can finally figure out how his fucking hat works.
>Meteora meets her creator
>no spicy banter, just sad when they reveal that they half-assed her character to fill the infodump nerd character role
Somebody has to cosplay it and draw fanart. Maybe it "connects" based on the logic of those fans or the laws of our universe.
Fucking hell, this third episode was so bad. I'm starting to get angry whenever the MC is on screen, he's such a pointless character who is obviously just there to be a self insert and will eventually be super important to the plot because reasons. Also this "i can't draw" subplot is just so bad. I hope this show doesn't suffer from too many pacing issues, if this has 24 episodes so we can have more episodes like this i would just rather have a 12 episode show honestly.
Maybe the power of creation fills the gaps to a certain extend.
I found it interesting that Selesia couldn't smell shit because her author didn't bother to describe it properly. Could be pretty interesting to find out about flaws in the respective character's design. We already witnessed Mamika going full retard because she doesn't know how to solve conflicts without beating the shit out of her opponents since that's the way her simplistic world works.
Also, why isn't there more talk about best boy? He has a suprising amount of common sense and is pretty laid-back.
You literally can't say "destinies" in Japanese so it doesn't really matter. Either translation would be accurate without the context and assuming that they share one destiny makes it more complex.
It's pretty obvious that he's the illustrator for Chuuni and that he forgot about her, while the suicide girl is the author and who Chuuni was addressing at the episode's conclusion.
Best girl righ here.
Marine studying Selejia's clothes suggests that Meteora's first hypothesis -- that the real world is interacting with worlds that exist independently, rather than creating them from whole cloth -- is correct.
He has a point, if you haven't been noticing all the hints and so on towards him. He may call himself the narrator, but he's underselling how much he's actually done since he's the thread tying all these things together.
He's incredibly bland, and yet the story will obviously make him important in some way. Every time he's on screen i can't help but to think "yes we get it he's a generic relatable character, get on with it"
Sorry, I couldn't help myself when I heard the horse.
How far could the gaps be filled though?
Obviously the tiny details are being filled in but what about gaping holes in their backstory that the author hasn't gotten around to describing yet? Like, if you asked Selejia "what's the name of your parents" and the author hadn't specified their names would she be able to tell you or would her brain short out?
>He's incredibly bland
Only after 3 episodes
>and yet the story will obviously make him important in some way
Literally every MCs of every shows
Holy shit you fucking moron. Just stop watching and get lost
So you're trying to tell me that this character who is a 16 year old japanese boy with bland features, nearly no personality at all, and is interested in otaku stuff who just by coincidence has female characters from the series he likes come to life and live with him, giving colour to his otherwise bland life, and also cheering him on to achieve his dream of being an artist is not a wish-fulfillment shitfest of a self insert character? Because if that's what you mean then you're fucking stupid.
I hereby name the horse Wergal.
Okay what the fuck why are people hating the MC in this episode? He actually did something cool for once and put out an interesting hypothesis. Other than that he did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
Like I agree the MC isn't anything amazing but shitting on him right now is just baseless. I actually kind of liked him this episode, even if he didn't do much.
Souta is obviously in the Madoka role of the story.
Intiially powerless and unable to affect the events around him/her only to turn out to be the all-important centerpiece of all the events and decide the fate of everyone at the series conclusion.
I guess that would make Chuuni the Homura in this scenario?
She's in for some suffering next episode, when she finds out no real thought was given to her character and she is solely an exposition machine. Which would explain her stunted emotions and constant deadpan.
>Holy shit you fucking moron. Just stop watching and get lost
Why are you so adamant in defending this show? You can't even be a hardcore fan since it's an original. Are you saying that it's expected for a main character to be boring for the first 3 episodes of his own show? Main characters with no personality and that are bland as fuck only exist so that the young japanese male audience that watches this can self-insert onto them. It's very bad writing and makes the entire thing worse. Main characters should never be bland 3 episodes into their own series. I can't belive i'm even having to explain this.
>Other than that he did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
>HE HAD LITERALLY 2 LINES THIS EPISODE.
That's exactly the problem, when you are 3 episodes into a show and the main character is by far the most boring and pointless one you just start to wish he wasn't there at all.
>this fucking autistic retard writing several sentences spewing his bullshit
The usual lazy sound effects were already annoying me, but now the motorcycle horse sounds have pushed me over the edge.
It's a shame since it seemed kind of interesting and I liked the mage girl.
>they expect to see the show's full hand at the end of episode 1
There are too many morons like this these days. The phenomenon is even more rampant in Japan, actually. Shit's killing the whole industry you see
I'm trying to give you a decent explanation on why it's bad writing but since that's probably all you have ever seen in your life i guess it's pointless. Those who have lived their whole lives eating shit are doomed to think it's good, for they don't know any better.
To be fair, 2-Pass is still the standard in streaming for a reason. Decent CRF is a wild card, you can suddenly find yourself having to serve a 1080p 1.5GB episode of a popular show to millions of streamers just because it had a couple of grainy flashbacks or something. So unless you're really confident in your infrastructure, 2-Pass makes sense.
>What could an old man with a gun do against an Infinite Over Machine?
An old man with a gun that can also fly
If he's not doing anything why would you be fucking bothered by him?
He's not doing anything offensive so you can literally just ignore him if you want. He's not even labeled the main character for fuck's sake, if that's really what's bothering you.
Why do even care so much if he's virtually not there? You might as well be mad about Lancer's horse not being fabulous enough. Any MC that doesn't whimp like a faggot for half an episode like Shinji or Toyota is okay in my book.
>Main characters should never be bland 3 episodes into their own series.
Can you actually articulate why this should be the case though
This is clearly an ensemble cast type of thing, why is it mandatory for "MC" to get all his development right at the start? What exactly is wrong with focusing on the other characters first? You're just saying it's bad because it is.
>is not a wish-fulfillment shitfest of a self insert character?
No, retard. Watch more anime.
They lived with him for like 1 day, they had zero interaction, they showed almost zero interest in him. Getting surrounded by cute sexy girls who are all trying to get into your pants is wish fulfilment. Getting superpowers is wish fulfilment. Becoming a hero who saves the world is wish fulfilment. But being irrelevant fuck who just watches events and plot from behind is not wish fulfilment.
To be honest it's more likely you're angry because he is not self insert. You want to self insert as a cool MC surrounded by his anime waifus and defeating foes, but you can't. So you just come here and cry like a little retard you are.
That's not devoted screen time. He's in the background and gives the occasional quip. Good. I'd rather learn more about the characters that were pulled into the real world than average 16 year old school boy right now.
They can elaborate on his big destiny in the coming episodes.
I don´t like where the Hime team seems to be going, at least with the small amount of interation we had so far. I don´t want an entire group of self-righteous cunts being a pain in the ass because things don´t go their way and the world is cruel and wah wah waaah. I may be wrong and I hope so, but I can´t help but think that, specially with those final lines from Hime
Ok, so Travis said that all these character were chosen because they are the most popular in that world at the moment.
Keeping this in mind, what characters would be summoned in our world right now?
If Yuya's hypothesis is correct and they were all selected via popularity contest doesn't that mean Meteora is one of those meme breakout characters like Kashima that weren't designed to be the poster girl of the game but somehow ended up wildly popular anyways?
This level of delusion is astonishing. He's an irrelevant fuck right now but he will obviously become a powerful wish fulfillment MC. Why are all of you defending this boring writing? It's lazy as fuck. Even if you wanted to make a "quiet, normal boy" protagonist there are so many better ways to do it than just making him the most boring person on earth who doesn't have any point in the story other than being a walking plot-hook. Do you guys like bad, lazy wrtiting THAT much?
Pretty much this.
Really, at this point any bitching about the "MC"(according to him, he is the narrator) is becoming retarded.
>with no sandstar it just summons an actual serval
You're still failing to explain what is actually wrong with him as a character as things stand right now.
Assumptions about where the plot is going to go are not valid complaints. Even the most trite of plot twists is possible to do well if it's written well.
