It's not in-character. They both work too hard to risk being recognized for cheap antics over their skill. Depends on how Fairy feels about his sexuality and expressing it. If he's doing it for professional reasons, I can't say with utmost certainty it would be an issue for him. If he was thinking he had feelings for Otabek and wanted to kiss him because of that, I don't know. We haven't even seen Fairy interested in romance yet so I can't say anything with certainty when it comes to that.
