That entire scene with Akko and Ursula was so heartwarming that I almost cried. I'm going to blog for a second. This anime is so encouraging while I'm trying to get good at piano. I want to join my college's jazz band eventually and sometimes when I feel like an idiot for trying to do that when there are other students who have been learning piano since they were five, Akko reminds me that I can do it. I can't grasp a dream, but if I work hard enough, one day it will be tangible. Then I practice like crazy. And I feel good doing it. I love this show.

It's explicitly a plot point that Akko is the ONLY witch without a magical background in the entire school. If it were so easy for normal people to pick up on, there would be more of them out there. It also seems like Luna Nova is the ONLY point of magical education, since there's people from all over the world attending.
