Last time we we discussing how rippers sometimes fuck over good BD transfers, I posted some minky momo caps comparison.

Just finished watching both Vampire Hunter D movies, dubbed. The 86 movie is great for it's time, but Bloodlust was amazing all around.

Koji Morimoto is my hero.

Going through Excel Saga ATM.
Gotta admit, it holds up extremely well in terms of relevance since it focuses on parodying all anime genres in general.

Since it pokes fun on the meta of anime, it gets better and funnier with the more anime you watch beforehand.

I just don't get the hype. Pretty formulaic so far.

Utena gets pretty stale in the center. I honestly think it would have worked better with a shorter episode count. But the ending is still phenomenal.

There was literally never an episode of Utena I didn't enjoy though. They're all great fun to watch.
Actually I found that Utena got even better on rewatch too, as there's so much foreshadowing/references I didn't catch the first time.
