Think about it this way guys. The music in an anime is supposed to fit the series right? It's not necessary about what sounds better although they both sound good but what fits the show better overall right?

After thinking about this I've come to the conclusion that the music in Railgun isn't just better but overwhelming better than Index and probably in the top twenty for all anime in a list of music that fits the anime.

And the OST is recycled throughout the series. The BGMs of the movie are just remixes mostly, Railgun S uses almost more songs from the first Railgun than its own OST even had. And Index II used Railgun tracks.

It ALL fits mostly. Railgun S OST is in a slightly different territory though. Except for the ITEM battle themes, which sound a bit Indexy for obvious reasons.

This is the result of JC Staff backing Kamachi into a corner. He hadn't resolved the child error situation yet and they kind of rushed him into it.

Everything Mikoto had learned at the end of season 1 was unlearned by the start of season 2. Because everything that happened to the child errors didn't happen in the manga yet.

So I created a fucked up headcanon where poltergeist arc happens after and I have to pretend Banri and shit aren't really there.

While Touma still glory hounds away from Mikoto, it would demote him to a person teaching Mikoto a lesson. And then she saves the child errors. Because that Febri thing was trash.

Also if we get a Railgun S3, you can look forward to more Touma. But at least its a joint effort by all of Mikoto's friends this time.

Why does everything always have to be about violence? I personally think it would have been better if Kamijou never showed up and Mikoto faced off with Accel and when she got weak he started feeling bad like how he did with the clones but if you remember they never told him to stop and because Mikoto herself is not a clone somehow or another they had a heartfelt discussion with each other since they both could somewhat relate as level fives.
