Do you like these new characters?
Say something you dislike about your shingeki.
>got eaten by the weakest shingeki and will probably be NTR'ed by the same guy that eated him
My husbando's, of course.
Also anyone have the approximate ages of life ERA has left since the recent timeskip, I know someone calculated them a few threads ago.
>mfw the evil empire should normally steamroll the little islanders, considering the difference in technologie we saw
>mfw we know it won't be the case
I don't like it either but when the time comes he has to make a sacrifice for the sake of his home country.
Magath is an Eldian spy and will eat Reiner.
When did the 3 year timeskip happen? I've caught up to the manga, but i don't remember a skip other than the 1 year skip they spent killing all of the titans on the island, just before SL left for the ocean
Think about it anon. If he has Berthold's memories why wouldn't he realise how much Annie meant to him. It would be like a sort of tribute to him if Annie did in fact get together with Annie.
After shinganshima falls, Bort and Reiner attack the second wall 5 years later.
When they reach the ocean, they say it's been 6 years since Shinganshima, so another year went by.
The marley commander directing Gabi's unit says it's been 9 years since they sent out the titans to attack the walls, so another 3 years went by.
Eren should be 19 now, but we haven't seen him yet.
>What if we carried out the plan at night ?
>During the night, when Titans can't move.
Someone asked for something to spoil people last thread
While it is a sexual crime it is mostly a violent one. A rapist mostly does it for the power trip. Research backs this up. Otherwise why would someone rape an old lady, a child, a man or whoever? People are fucked up.
Alright anons, here's the deal.
Historia is in love with you but if you try and make a move on her Ymir will kill you.
Are you willing to fight a titan-shifter to claim your waifu? You're almost certainly going to die if you try.
>EM is not going to happen either
Yeah, if one of them dies. As it stands EM is twice as likely to happen than any other ship. It has to be your first work of fiction if you don't see it.
Moblit is so great. I really miss him.
I....don´t understand the story. Seriously, some actions don´t even make any sense and on top of that the author keeps killing and throwing to the bin interesting characters and now he wants his own new generation shit.
Not to mention the designs are the same post-time skip.
I can repost a summary someone asked for earlier.
Close to 2,000 years ago, a woman named Ymir came into contact with the origin of organic life and became a Titan shifter, also bringing regular Titans we know into the world. On her death, her power split into 9 different unique titans; whoever has this power dies within 13 years, like Ymir did, though it can instead be passed on by a mindless titan drinking the spinal fluid of the shifter. Ymir and her people are Eldians, who can be turned into titans with some cheap drug. They conquered the land in the past and were ruled by the Founding Titan who became the royal Fritz family. The Founding Titan both passes along the memories of its past holders while also allowing the user to manipulate memories of people in its bloodline. It can also command all other Titans.
The 145th Fritz King decided to move the nation to a small island and construct walls to protect his people. He commanded large Titans to harden themselves into walls, and altered all his subjects memories to believe that all life outside of the walls had died to the mindless Titans. The few nobles he didn't control kept themselves quiet.
Outside of the wall, the nation of Marley took control of old Eldia and of the other shifter's abilities that the King left behind, constructing ghettos for the remaining Eldians to live in. Think 20th Century Europe with Jews, checkpoints, armbands. People who break the rules get imprisoned, boated over to the Eldian island, and injected with the drug to turn into Titans let loose outside of the Walls.
There's a movement among some remaining Eldians in Marley to rise to power, but it fails when Eren's father, Grisha, is betrayed by his son Zeke. Grisha gets carted to the island. His wife gets turned into the smiling Titan who eats Eren's mom, but Grisha is saved by the Attack Titan who has Grisha gain his power and go inside of the walls to convince the king to rejoin the rest of the world.
Grisha makes it inside, starts a family, and searches for the true royal family. When he eventually does find it, he begs the Founding Titan to undo the walls, but instead they end up fighting. Grisha kills the royal family, eats the Founding Titan, and then goes and finds his son Eren. He has Eren eat him to gain his powers. Rod Reiss is the only member of the royal family who wasn't present at that time, but he has a daughter out of wedlock. He goes and finds her, but the presence of the military police forces him to have her drop her name and join the army; Historia Reiss, the future queen, takes up the name Krista Lenz.
During this period, Marley is attempting to invade the Eldian island and gain the Founding Titan's power. It sends Bert, the Colossal Titan, Reiner, the Armored Titan, Marcel, the Dancing Titan, and Annie, the Female Titan. Marcel is eaten outside of the walls by a mindless Titan who becomes the Ymir we know. In Grisha's basement is a collection of books that tell a lot of what Eren also learns through the Founding Titans memories anyway. It also might have the ability to have memories of the future, it's somewhat hinted at but not really stated.
Skipping past the anime stuff we know, there's going to be a fight at the castle. Zeke, Grisha's son, is the shifter who becomes the Beast Titan, and his appearance spurs Bert and Reiner into action. They try and have Eren come with them but instead they fight and capture both Eren and Ymir to take back home to Marley. The army chases them down and there is a large battle where they learn Eren has the Founding Titan abilities; Ymir leaves with Bert and Reiner while Eren makes it back inside the walls.
But anon, don't you see that Mikasa has really been in love with Armin all along?
There is a large political period to the manga where they overthrow the fake king and install Historia as the real one. We learn that Levi is an Ackerman, a family with some bloodlust abilities. Rod Reiss recaptures both Eren and Historia, attempting to have Historia eat Eren and regain the Founding Titan abilities. Historia almost goes along with it, but in the end she doesn't since every royal blood member that does gains the memories of the ones before them and has been held hostage to the knowledge of the 145th King. The military coup is successful, resulting in a purge of the corrupt police and large losses to the army. Historia leaves the army to become the new queen.
Eren has been running experiments and they think they can finally retake wall Maria using his hardening ability to leave behind a permanent shell of a titan just like the titans did that originally formed the walls. They plug the wall but are quickly surrounded by Bert, Reiner, and Zeke. Bert drops in like a nuke and wipes out virtually all of the inside survey corps. Outside the town, Zeke is tossing stones and massacring the others. Erwin has his soldiers charge to their deaths while Levi tries to sneak behind Zeke; Erwin and everyone dies but Levi isn't able to finish him. Armin commits suicide to let Eren kill Bert.
Levi has a remaining vial of titan drug that Rod Reiss left behind. Faced with the choice of who to save, Erwin or Armin, he saves Armin and has Armin eat Bert. Reiner is saved by Zeke and they escape. They go to the basement and read Grisha's stuff and learn that Eren was the Attack (on) Titan all along. Timeskip 5 years, Marley is training soldiers to inherit shifters abilities, Reiner and Zeke attack a different nation's base along with a jaw titan and cartman. Rules of Nature plays in the background.
> a mindless male titan has a better butt than all the female characters
Sigh. The original data of the clip shown near the beginning in that white-tile stairwell was uncensored, showed a brown woman kicked down said stairwell and then pelted with beer cans or something, and the censored faces were very white Germans, not Muslim refugees.
But go ahead and listen to everything else if it helps you deal with confirmation bias.
This is literally SnK propaganda.
Are you retarded? That's basically every shonen MC ever. He will show no interest in anyone until in one chapter Isayama decides that it's time for Eren to go by "I've actually always loved you" trope.
She may smell a bit, but she's not the other thing
>eren was attack on titan all along
Well shit thanks guys, shit is fucking crazy.
>She also smells bad in canon.
Don't worry, manlet's got that covered.
coordinate is the only reason why he's that valuable. Though it's hard to imagine the reason why would they need to bring Eren himself. It would be much easier to eat him or feed him to mindless titan and take him.
Yeah, snk is a groundbreaking shonen where there are no asspulls, no special snowflake bloodlines, no retarded power-ups and the main characters don't have plot armor made of titanium.
>Definitely a doggo
I wonder what kind of relationship you have with your dog you sickfuck.
no, that was pretty dumb as well but it wasnt hard to see coming that he wasnt actually going to die
the whole reiner and bert always just getting away and escaping was getting pretty annoying, good to see one of them died at least
Reiner suriving without a brain was fucking ridiculous but at least it's kind of explained by him being a shifter. Armong was fried alive and dropped 50m (hint: you and me would be dead just because of that) and he still survived long enough for them to horse around for a few minutes. Though for me personally the worst was how Zeke sneaked up on Hange with his fucking shifter bro going full speed and saving Reiner. That Walking Dead moment was the most infuriating thing in whole manga imo.
What kind of sweet treats would a young Hisu enjoy?
The worst part about Armin's survival is the 50m drop for me. Absolutely no one would survive that, even if they were conscious and not just thoroughly cooked. And it could have been prevented pretty easily by just writing someone in to catch him midfall.
>Whether something is yours are not you don't want it to smell because that's just awful.
Not really, when I see something that is unpleasant and I'm not entitled to it I simply ignore it or stay away. I must care deeply to do something about it.
Yeah I guess it was explained but I mean it was still pretty dumb avoiding death like twice with his meme shit, once by Levi stabbing him in the fucking head twice and then surviving against the ambush with eren and the lighting lance things, although I agree with you armins body was literally fucking fried, any human would've died just from the pain alone after having been burned to a crisp up to that point, I have to say that last way that reiner survived also pissed me off as well, it's so fucking stupid how much plot armor reiner has in this whole series
I like the direction where the manga has been heading though, it just went full retard and doesnt care anymore
Levi is literally a thug from the underground who doesn't let dirty people get close to him. Yet he and Hange are always together. He must bathe her pretty often then.
>Also the whole clean freak thing.
Much more reason to stay the hell away. Why does he care so much?
For me the worst part is the writing of the death itself.
Armin got the most detailed and drawn-out death scene in the entire series and he didn't even die.
He fucking had a flashback, a dying monologue and got overly praised by a main character in a way that no other character has.
>They have to work together and he hates smelly things.
Manlet says it can still be overlooked while on duty, so there's no need for him to go that far. Unless he wants to be close to her during off duty time, which seems to be the case.
>attack titan serum
No. It was regular titan spinal fluid that turned Eren into a mindless titan. He only became the snk after eating his father, who was the snk at that moment.
on the contrary, he does it because he cares. He could ignore her like you'd expect him to. But he likes her so much he'll go, knock her out, undress her, bathe her body, pick clean clothes, dress her again, and let her in her bedroom. And the best is that Hanji knows, and doesn't really care. You know why? because they've been fucking for 8 years.
Can someone explain me this whole ''consciousness shiften outside of the brain'' thing?
Why didn't all the shifters do it if regular humans only knew to hit the nape?
From manlet's perspective is cute. That's his own of keeping her safe.
>mfw still not entirely sure what's going on
I just want Annie to be okay.
Will you bathe my body because you assimilate filthiness with disease and don't want me to get sick? I'm not sure, I mean, you and I aren't that close so I would still mind if you saw my body like that.
So, spoonfeed me perhaps, but let me get this straight.
>Ymir was an ancient being, that gave prosperity to her people.
>Her power was split into her children.
>You can only live so many years with these powers.
>The final bad guy is Germany?
So I am going to go out on a limb but, this is all gonna end with Eren gaining all 9 powers and dying so nobody has the power?
I just did. Now I'm just more confused.
And it kills me.
Btw can someone explain to me how in the fuck did Eren turn into titan for the first time if he didn't have a hand and a leg? In later chapters it's been explicitly stated multiple times that with such serious injuries they have to heal fully first.
It makes some sense. If you were able to move your thoughts from one place to the next, it would be like tapping into a much larger storage space.
Reasons not to do it though are pretty obvious
-Much larger area to protect
-Your reaction speed becomes sluggish
-Can't easily leave the Titan body if needed
Sounds like you're projecting your fetishes onto your favorite characters. Levi is only washing a dog for work (he does it for his coworkers as well). You might want to pick up a romance novel so you don't have to do mental gymnastics in order to see anything there.
I'm reading exactly what has been given to us. Levi bathes Hange and does a lot in order for that to happen.
>he does it for his coworkers as well
Nobody minds. Hange mentions it, not even Mike complains.
>You might want to pick up a romance novel so you don't have to do mental gymnastics in order to see anything there.
But why should I when it's canon that Levi bathes Hange because he cares? he's got so many options, but he does it anyways and she doesn't mind. That's very cute and speaks greatly about them.
Pretty sure they do. I don't have the story on me and haven't read it in a while since it's kind of stupid but I'm pretty sure it disgusts him.
He cares about the rotten egg smelling ass she has. Someone's gotta clean it and it isn't the retarded tranny.
>All the titans shown being kicked into the sand are also the same titans that show up and kill everybody within the walls.
Big eyes at the cute girl, he is also the guy who ate fatty mc sister killer.
The old man that ears Eren, is also one of the men with Grisha.
The wife eats Erens mom.
SO! Here is how it works I suppose.
>Hey fags, just go north!
>So they do.
If the walls were not there blocking them I would assume they would just keep going till they hit water and then keep going.
Since sunlight powers these guys like a calculator, is it safe to assume that the titans in the walls can be awakened thanks to Eren's new power and thus destroy the world?
So the end boss is Eren's temper tantrums.
Will the series ever top Eren vs Annie in the forest?
>To kill a titan, one has to cut them in an area in the neck, which is 1m*10cm big (regardless of the size of the titan)
>Originally, this was probably the area where the human body inside the titan would sustain lethal damage if cut
>But no, suddenly it's all about the "consciousness" of the person in the titan, and you can move it however you want
Nobody minds, Hange mentions it. Hell, it isn't even a thing in the manga.
>He cares about the rotten egg smelling ass she has.
Nope, he cares about her well being, this was also shown in chapter 90. And as I said before her lack of hygiene can still be overlooked when they're on duty, so it's not something that affects anyone.
Manlet does it because he cares a lot.
Hange is not very reliable when it comes to things like that.
Also a person is capable of being caring to someone they aren't attracted to. It's not likely that he's attracted to trannies but maybe you are and that's why you're so obsessed with this.
>Also a person is capable of being caring to someone they aren't attracted to.
I don't doubt that, but what Levi does is too extreme even for him. I don't know about you, but I'm not caring to the point I'd be willing to see, touch and clean the naked body of someone I just happen to know. Specially if said body is filthy.
Now if that person was someone I see naked regularly and share an intimate bond with, then yes, I'd be willing to go that far for their sake.
cute date ep when
>I like how the evidence you have for your ship didn't even happen in the story.
There's a lot of stuff that happened in the story that show how close they are. Anyways, the bathing thing is thing that happens, it just wasn't shown. These are official tidbits about the characters we like and their relationships.
>Like normal stuff that Levi would do for anybody.
Not just for anybody. Only Hange as far as we know. Bear in mind he absolutely despises fitlhy stuff, so actually touching her body in order to clean it is quite meaningful.
>Levi doesn't even like women according to Isayama.
Isayama said Levi likes "people" and the only person who falls in that categery in the manga is Hange. So there's that.
I see Hange squad and LAME but I don't see Sasha. If she is going along with them i'm assuming she was there when they read the family records Erwin give her. Could be nice to see her reaction. The only other possibility I can think of is she's going with Jean to Trost district and will show up after the wall battle.
Finally caught up with the manga and it honestly feels like it's going the Gantz route of trying to become more and more over the top. How the fuck do you go from fighting giant monsters to WW2 concentration camp type bullshit?
At least it's entertaining to read, I guess.
They're likely not old but just a language from the main land. Ymir is originally from there before she was arrested and turned into a mindless titan.
It was actually pretty organic. I don't know why people find so hard to accept about this turn of events. When the enemy becomes too weak you introduce a new, stronger one. Also "humans are the real monsters" trope is something well overused by now.
Reiner was faking. He pauses and realizes that it means Ymir is from outside the walls.
>Oh, does he like women….? Short people tend to like taller people, you know…. It’s possible that he just likes tall people.
Isayama is painfully aware of what's popular regarding manlet and his ships, so this was worded to please everyone.
Still, the only ship that stands a chance now is LH.
It looks like you almost realized that he only says stuff like that not because as a writer he thinks it builds meaning into his characters but instead to pander to his retarded fanbase.
It's pretty lazy, though it's consistent with the one from the flashback 50 chapters ago
And this is the can page. If it was just some language he hadn't seen before, there's no reason he would get like this because he doesn't know everything that goes on within the walls.
>reviewed and approved by him
He doesn't give a fuck. This is the same guy who said that Armin was a girl. (Which he had to explicitly say that he was a boy because he kept getting questions about it). That's the average I.Q. of the snk fan.
>the bathing part is a thing even in chuugakkou.
Wow you're really reaching there.
Also about your earlier comment
>You can't compare a statement given for a fan even
Why not? He said it. He just said something that you didn't like which is why you won't accept it. Either accept everything he says or finally realizes that he talks bullshit sometimes just for laughs and to pander (this is a business remember).
>Wow you're really reaching there.
It's known chuugakkou's author is Isayama's kouhai, and that he talks to her about it to give her ideas.
>He just said something that you didn't like which is why you won't accept it
I completely accept it. It's not denying it nor confirming Levi's sexuality.
>he talks bullshit sometimes just for laughs and to pander
This is info released for the phone company AU in Japan. It isn't the same.
>drop the manga a few months before the anime airs because of how fucking slow it is and "mysteries on mysteries ooooo"
>read everything since then over the past few days
>the reveals are not an absolute disappointment and it actually improved the story
Sure as fuck never expected that. Shame that the second season covers the most boring part of the manga.
Huh, I had to go look that up, did remember her as a guy when I read it.
Guys, i'm sick of waiting for the anime so i'm starting the manga. I wanted to ask something if Before the fall was worth it and if it was linked to the main story?
OH YOU THINK DARKNESS IS YOUR ALLY
BUT YOU MERELY ADOPTED THE DARK
ARMIN WAS BORN IN IT
MOLDED BY IT
Wow, you are so smart, anon. Congratulations on figuring out it's the same person intentionally replying to their own posts, shocked by the digits they keep getting. Wow! Soooo smart! You could rival Armin's smartness!
Wow! Calling it samefagging when there was zero attempt to hide that fact because I was intentionally replying to myself because of the digits and wasn't trying to samefag! Wow!
You are literally retarded. It's amazing you know how to type.
>digits is a /yoi/ meme
Newfag detected. I wasn't the one who replied with the Georgi image but nice try.
>accusing me of being what you are
>trying to fit in this hard
Keep going, this is hilarious.
Disgusting. Reiner belongs with Berthole.
If you think about it, these threads are replicating what's happened inside the walls. Despite originally being faced with a common enemy (the titans), the walled people still fought and quarreled, just like we all do 24/7. Maybe the unification of humanity, or of these threads, is impossible, and not even the threat of nuclear bombing would be enough to get us to cooperate.
At this rate, everything will burn!
How can he be with sweaty if he's dead?
This ED for this season is pretty unsettling. It seems to sum up the whole origin of the titans, too.
From what I could gather, humans had forsaken their Goddess and were committing heresy and the titans were kind of a divine judgment that was passed upon humanity.
The Devil shows up in the beginning, too. I'm not sure what's up with that. Maybe they made a pact with the Devil or something.
I'm not too far into the manga, so maybe I'm talking nonsense.
I think you're on to something, bro
The anime even included the fucking Rico scene. There is no way they are skipping character interactions.
Also, they'll run out of material if they go faster than the 1.5 chapters per episode pace they are doing right now.
Seems like Isayama is taking some notes from Drifters.
>Season 2 only has 12 episodes
What the fuck? I though they were going to 26 and end with Eren using the Coordinate, but with only 12 if feels like they'll end with the anti-climax of Eren vs. Armoured Titan. Fuck
Actually, thinking about it, this may not be a bad idea. They can do 12 episodes here and get up to the end of the Armored Titan fight (or even more than that) and then they can do a 24 episode season next and try to get up to the part where the big twist is revealed and stop there for a cliffhanger.
