>"With all that in mind, though, let me just state outright at the beginning that overall for me Mahou Tsukai is probably among the top three of the PreCure seasons that I enjoy "
>"Mahou Tsukai was my first "real" introduction to the Pretty Cure series and it gave me a good impression."
Final Rating: 6.98 (7)
>"Mahou Tsukai PreCure is one of my top 3 entries in the franchise so far alongside Suite and DokiDoki!.The magical girl and wizardy combination won me over instantly, the cast are delightful, the mascot and infant are some of the franchise’s best and the vintage Cure action is as good as always. Highly recommended to PreCure fans and magical girl enthusiasts."
>"There was a fear that Maho Girls PreCure! wouldn’t be able to live up to its predecessor, Go! Princess PreCure. For me, I definitely feel that it has surprassed it. For those who are keen on magical girl and fantasy genres, Maho Girls PreCure! is well worth watching."
Threadly reminder that Maho being bad is just a meme and that it's actually the best series in the franchise.
>goprickies this mad because they have tiny dicklets
I has a feeling your posting this in sarcasm, but is true. Before maho girls nobody really cared about pretty cure except some small groups around the internet. Maho girls was better for a wide audience because it was cute and fun instead of focuses too much on the fighting and crap like the old ones. But thats just what I think probably some bitter old fag in his twenties will come on here and tell me how wrong I am like he knows better or smth.
>Mahoorons so assblasted that their mindless shitfest of a show is hated by every sapient being in the universe that they have to desperately fish for attention on a hindu arts and crafts ouija board
>we are almost halfway through Kira Kira
>/pc/ still talks about Maho all the time
What happened? Is Kira Kira so bad it made Maho look good in comparison? Have we been liking Maho all along and just being tsun?
I like Maho and I'm not the other Mahoman in this thread. Pretty sure it's just one retard who hates Maho: (You). Maho is objectively good and those who can't see the intrinsic beauty of Miraki and Riko's homosexual relationship lack a real soul.
And Kirakira is amazing for different reasons. Precure in the last year has been fantastic and and the threads are just dead because all the people with shit taste left. It's only natural that the overwhelming majority of people have shit taste. Once the tasteless hordes who can't appreciate the bunny cunny leave, we are left with the very few patricians. This is why the threads are dead.
I don't see what the problem is.
Add all this shit to your filter and laugh as the mexican mahotard dies.
If you could switch bodies with a cure, wich one would you choose and why?
I wanna be Hime and seduce old virgin men.
Mirei so I could seduce Lala and fuck her.
Lala so I could be seduced by this anon>>155937828
Have you ever even watched Precure?
Hard question really. I think it's going to be Honoka.
What the fuck is this?
Okay, I'm not even a /u/fag but the shipping here is too real.
Are the animals taking over their personalities or something?
So this guy showing up next episode will be notChar right?
We are at the turning point, /pc/. You have two poisons: either the show becomes 100% Ciel focused since Julio is her brother or it becomes the Ciel and Ichika show if Julio becomes Ichika's love interest.
Doesn't make it any better. All cures should stay gay.
>or it becomes the Ciel and Ichika show if Julio becomes Ichika's love interest.
Fine with me
People scared about heterosexual romance in their fucking magical girl show are sc/u/m. /U/nintelligent cursory secondaries who read a bunch of Madoka shlickfests and think they know what Magical Girl is about.
Cure Parfait, plot black-hole girl. She is the sister of the antagonist guy. They're the prince and princess of the fairies.
>All these dumbasses presuming the villain is male
Can't wait for you to get BTFOd.
They all have names: (from top-left, clockwise) Puru-Puru, Hotto, Fueru, Spongeen, Kukka-Cookie, Tarton, Chou-crea, and Maquillon.
At least Karen and Milk are getting shipped together ;_;
Looks like we finally have plot to shit post about
The fact is that we know who the actual sixth Cure is going to be and she looks nothing like Julio.
>Hetfags being this assmad and desperately making shits up because they got BTFOd for one whole year.
Mahou Tsukai truly is the best Precure.
Today's story with Ichika's dad was a really well done framing device for the whole motif they've got going on. Some may think "It's just a cake/cookies/ice cream, let them have it. You can always make more." But it's not just that. For Ichika, it's a symbol of her memories of her mother who's always gone. For Himari, is her passion for science and desire to share that feeling with others. For Aoi, it's an inspiration to make music. For Yukari, it's a challenge worthy of her normally perfect self. For Akira, it's a way to make her sick sister smile. It's not the sweets that are important, it's the feelings inside them. The kirakiraru which made the Candy Rods didn't come from cakes; they came from everyone's hearts. So yes, the villains do pose a serious threat. They are trying to steal the emotions of everyone in the town.
You hetfags are so fucking entertaining but annoying most of the time. You always latch on the likes of LWA and Hibike when neither of them was originally intended to have het. Madoka and Nanoha are bigger names than Precure and both didn't have heterosexual romance bullshit.
There's an obvious reason for that, but some people don't like it.
Toei just had to fuck up yet another Precure when they could've continued the success of Mahou Tsukai. Pathetic.
Oh man totally not suspicious samefagging or anything. Why haven't you kys yet. You don't actually like precure but you're content with reminding everyone why they hate maho.
Kirakira doesn't suck because it doesn't try to be Maho, or because it does or doesn't pander to /u/, or anything like that
it sucks because it had two solid months of episodes where the only stakes were the chance that some cakes would be ruined, it not using all its characters well (Aoi doesn't do anything besides be hot blooded and fuel "gao" memes and I'm not sure why she even cares about making sweets, Himari went from having social anxiety to just being brainy about desserts, and Akira is just a discount Mana and you never hear about the interesting stuff like her relationship with her sister, etc.)
The antagonists are all forgettable and the fights have no sense of danger
try to name one of the KiraKirau Hunters without checking wikipedia. Seriously. It shouldn't have taken two months to get an antagonist that looks vaguely threatening.
>It shouldn't have taken two months to get an antagonist that looks vaguely threatening.
What is smile, gopri, doki, suite, or basically any season that isn't heartcatch. Fuck off.
>The antagonists are all forgettable and the fights have no sense of danger
> It shouldn't have taken two months to get an antagonist that looks vaguely threatening.
but they're not even as interesting as the admittedly typical magical girl villains we get every year. It's a parade of interchangeable monster creatures who don't act any different from each other and all have the same fucking personality
at the very least the minions we get every year are distinct from another and not glorified monsters of the week
oh good, you named the very first one, and thus the easiest to recall
Sparda's dumbass powered up form is still better than a parade of interchangable monsters with overly similar designs
like you can at least give basic explanations of how she's different from Gamets, or how Siren differs from the Trio de Minor, and Ira, Bel, and Marmo are all pretty distinct from each other both visually and personality wise
what differentiates the KiraKiraru Hunters? The kind of sweets they like to get their power from. That's it.
One was a chocolate pterodactyl and another one was some kind of cake demon. What is your fucking point? Are you really going to complain about the villains when maho was just last season? Or are you just shitting on kira more because nobody fucking cares you like maho.
>a fucking helicopter
Never gets old
>Sparda's dumbass powered up form is still better than a parade of interchangable monsters with overly similar designs
You're so full of shit here's a (you). Yokubaru are easily the worst monsters in the franchise. The trio of animals were also completely fucking terrible who couldn't do a single thing. They couldn't even hold onto a linkle stone for more than a second before dropping it.
dude, I'm not comparing Kirakira to Maho. I said that in my first post here. Everyone else brought up Maho and then posted Sparda's dumbass super mode like it proved a point. Kirakira fails not in comparison to Maho but basically every other Precure season.
Being a chocolate pterodactyl is not being a distinct character. It's being a monster of the week. Like, pick any group of enemy generals from a previous season. You can describe more than just what they look like and you'll end up with a distinct group. You can't do that with Kirakira's enemies because they're the blandest fucking bad guys ever. They're all the fucking same.
And that was the most threatening thing in 4 months. This fag >>155950621 is already crying about kira's villains 11 episodes in. Yokubaru also had shit tier designs holy fuck.
I never said they were competent or even great. Maybe they are the bottom of the barrel. But the fact that the Kirakiraru Hunters can't even meet their standard is even MORE damning. The animal trio can't hold onto a Linkle stone? Okay, fine, sure. They're still better than, gasp, OMG, THIS PUDDING MONSTER WHO ALMOST RUINED A CONVENIENCE STORE'S COLLECTION OF PUDDING
in any other series, that would be a generic monster of the week created by a more interesting character who would disappear afterwards. But this is ALL THE BAD GUYS IN KIRAKIRA ARE. We don't even know what they're trying to do. They like to mess up snacks! They don't even have any goals or backstory. That's it. There's NOTHING GOING ON.
to be fair, I really like to think that with the character's finally getting their obligatory weapons/toys and finally performing the group finisher, you could argue this episode is the end of the Introduction arc for Kirakira.
Add to that the fact it appears that after the enemies were hit with the group finisher it looks as though they had been purified (the black star they all had broke) It's highly likely these characters are not going to be used as villains moving forward. Maybe with the subsequent episodes we might get some intriguing and more memorable villains.
>OMG, THIS PUDDING MONSTER WHO ALMOST RUINED A CONVENIENCE STORE'S COLLECTION OF PUDDING
It's like you've never seen the silly shit precure monsters do. I'm not replying to your stupidity anymore. Go watch a different franchise.
Okay, now imagine if the Yokubaru were the only bad guys in the show, and there were no enemy generals, and they all had the same personality
or imagine if a super sentai series had no generals or big bad for a whole fifth of the show. Just monsters of the week over and over
that's what Kirakira is like
He hasn't. He's some fag determined to get people to hate kira for some reason.
I know what the shitty monsters in Precure do. That's the thing. The shitty monsters in Precure usually appear alongside or in service of characters that are more interesting. They needed real enemy generals. They needed a point for why they're doing any of this.
Do you know why monsters of the week are rarely talked about beyond the occasional ones that are unusual enough to stand out? Because they're designed to be disposable. Kirakira took that and made them the only bad guys for two and a half months.
Yeah, an akanbe or a jikochuu or a zetsuborg will be silly on its own, but they're a small part of a bigger picture, used by enemies that have bigger goals and are generally more entertaining and diverse in terms of personality.
Kirakira bad guys are like watching a show where every bad guy is Shakince: boring and forgettable
So I've been rewatching GoPrincess and just finished the mid-season climax.
In general the show is visually very strong, not just the animation but the character and monster designs are good, cgi stock footage isn't terrible either. And the music is very good too.
But Minami doesn't have a personality. She's Karen's skeleton. Close is the most generic starter villain but they tried to do some grand finale with him but it wasn't nearly as good as like what GoGo did with Scorp. Dyspear is nothing. Lock doesn't do anything in the first half and Twilight is a mishmash of earlier "villains turned Cures". Kirara and Shut are the most fun characters.
Yui is a good support character but Seiji was better. The show is well made but pretty meh on everything but visuals and music so far.
Where can I find a link for the precure mobage?
>Madoka and Nanoha are bigger names than Precure
Aha oh my god. Just go back to the madoka threads.
I cannot agree with your first statement but I really like Shut and Lock is good when he temporarily takes over from what I remember.
I never thought Close was any good. Ever. He had no development, no real rivalry and did nothing important in the beginning before his first death and then GoPrincess tries to do with him and Flora like what Smile did with Wolfrun and Miyuki after 44 episodes and numerous important episodes and events. It just didn't work.
>didn't have heterosexual romance
>He couldn't understand a little girl's show but calls someone retarded.
My god you're pathetic
Oh, this is why people hate GoPri fans.
Now I get it.
I feel bad spelling things up for you (and for a show aimed at little girls at that) but Close's entire thing was that he felt his existence was undermined by Flora's ideals, hence his extreme animosity towards her and the resolution they both reach towards the end.
He was a very human character, and he wasn't even wrong in feeling like he did.
You couldn't understand one of the simplest themes in precure that was executed so well you'd have to be retarded not to see it. Yeah those gopri fans though. And you post smile, it has to be ironic.
I've just rewatched the first half but there is less than nothing about that in the first cour.
Perhaps that comes later. But so far for his first run in the first 11 episodes he is nothing.
No one had a response of any substance. It was all "smug anime face".
t. ESL retard who pretends to have opinions on shows he can't understand.
>that damage control
You want (you)s so badly you accidentally exposed yourself yet you keep going. Kys
I've seen the whole show. I'm rewatching it now. I was only talking about Close's arc in the beginning. Nothing I said was meant to be about the second half of GoPrincess. I've only been talking about the first half.
This is me.
This is me talking about what GoPri did with Close in the first 11 episodes and the two-part end to him of episodes 10 and 11.
>less interesting than Dune.
Yes, less interesting than the guy who stayed undeveloped all the way until the final episode when he suddenly just had a change of heart and disappears.
I make a post where I say plenty of positive things about GoPrincess and then get jumped on for my completely accurate complaints of Close being boring in the first half.
GoPrincess really did ruin /pc/.
And this thread is proof that what ruined the threads last year was not Maho, it was GoPrifags shitting on anything and everything for not being GoPri. Exactly like they are doing right now for Kira.
You're not making an argument either, there was only one guy saying anything of any substance in Close's favor.
You could fuck off for not agreeing with me too you know.
>I'm totally not samefagging right now THOSE DAMN GOPRICKS
>You're not making an argument either
>there was only one guy saying anything of any substance in Close's favor.
Yes, and that was me.
>tfw I'm usually at the center of all the shitflinging but I missed it this time
uhhhhh gorpricks ruin everything, but kirakunts are worse, although fuck mahotards okay give me (You)s
All I can say is Close has no personality in the first half, and does nothing.
I have not gotten to his return in my rewatch. From what I recall when I originally watched it he still had no personality and the end was basically the same thing as what Suite, Doki and HapCha did with their villains.
Candy was hung for war crimes
Thank (You) my friend
>what Suite, Doki and HapCha did with their villains.
Hahaha holy fuck. You watched those seasons and couldn't understand them either? You might need to try an easier form of media like picture books. Kys
Couldn't have said it better myself! Here's a (you) for (you), my friend.
There was presumably another Anon that said that Close didn't develop through the whole show. People just assumed it was you as you were the one that brought the topic in the first place
>Close has no personality in the first half, and does nothing.
These are both factually wrong statements. Even if I can sort of figure what you are trying to say you are really bad at expressing yourself.
Can we stop with the stupid arguments and post eyebrows instead?
>trusting little girls
You have only yourself to blame.
I don't think you understand what I'm saying.
What I mean by no personality is an insult. He's an incredibly generic starter villain basically no different from Pissard. And what I mean by does nothing is that aside from being the villain of the week he doesn't do anything, he gets called back by Dyspear in episode 5, returns in episode 9 after being given a last chance and then fights for the last time in episodes 10 and 11. He doesn't do anything special until his fight to the death and that comes out of nowhere. Dyspear never acts as impatient with anyone else after that either.
How about fairy incest?
>I couldn't understand gopri, suite,doki or hapcha
Stop watching precure, it's too advanced for you.
Was this guy always so flamboyant and gay?
So let's summarize.
This Mexican thinks
>close is less developed than dune
>hacha suite doki gopri have the same endings
>maho had good villains just because they had "generals" and not monster fairies like kira even though it's been 11 fucking episodes and we don't know yet.
>Already exposed himself by admitting he's seen gopri yet backtracks by saying he was only talking about the first cour
>calls everyone a goprick while pretending he's not being retarded
>close wasn't developed
Even Miyuki can look pretty cool
Yeah it was good just like most of the series' movies.
And I am completely right about how bad GoPrincess fans are.
So never grab Candy by the ears I assume?
So this was THAT Smile episode?
They went far with Nao's shirt.
>fag starts by shitting on kira
>moves goalposts to gopri
>moves posts again to blogging about smile
Lord where did this guy come from.
You can even see how he starts shit posting with other series because all his shitty boob edits got filtered.
A little further to the right and we would have. This seems to be one of fan's most popular Nao scenes.
Smile Precure are not the sharpest knife in the crayon box, are they?
