How do you feel about the new female MC?
>I really don't like the new mc.
Why? She's fun.
She's fun, sure, but I prefer favoro's more gungho attitude.
I honestly might drop this season of the show, if it seriously doesn't improve; she works well as a side character, but as an MC, she doesn't work for me.
side note: ep2 was better than ep1, though not by much.
Favaro wasn't the main lead of the first season then he would be in this one. He shared the spot with Kaiser and Amira, and it looks like the same with Nina for Kaiser and maybe Azazel.
Yeah, but she's still a charachter with a fair bit of the limelight, imho she'd work better as a charachter like bachus.
Azazel and kaiser I would like to see as the main focus for this season, though.
Are you really this much of a picky snob cunt
>Wanting Azazel aka Mr. Jobber to be a main focus
she was beaten and broken during the assault on demonic capital, then sold into slavery and got sexually tortured to death in some dungeon by some rich old fat man. only her gloves survived.
She's an unholy bandwagoner slut who deserves to be taken to the pound alongside her commie cunt little sister.
I WILL KILL ALL THESE FILTHY SUBHUMANS WITH MY BARE HANDS
Why this show doesn't have 1080'p?
Rita best girl
Yeah, she's fun and her reactions are great. She's still figuring things out and it's fun to watch and go with her flow
DELETE, she's a doggo of good stature and a friend of Heaven. Silly Ningen like you anons will all bend your knees in due time
The only thing which disappointed me about this episode was the complete lack of follow up to Nina's dragon transformation situation. So she rampaged for a little bit, then just passed out and it was even possible for Azazel to snatch her up without being caught or followed, even though he was hurt himself and his disguise was half undone? I also find it hard to believe the king would just let her be after an incident like this. She'd have been marked as a demon and imprisoned, she already has a mark on her for allegedly aiding the rag demon. This just struck me as kind of messy writing.
Another thing I'm wondering about is why the hell is Azazel completely alone in his resistance movement? Where's help from other demon lords? Is he the sole demon alive who gives a damn? I find it hard to believe, he was never all that particularly concerned about his demon brethen, and even though this is more of an issue of pride, he surely is not the most prideful. So, where is everybody else? I'm not one of the guys screeching for more card appearences, but simply seeking some explanation as to why Azazel is the sole demon who is above being caught and enslaved and being the only one doing shit about the situation.
>but I prefer favoro's more gungho attitude
She is way more gung ho than Favaro. Favaro was a sneaky weasel type who went about things more quietly while she has the strength of fifty men and is far more eager to do stuff than Favaro. She just wasn't given an opportunity to do much yet.
Look at that body.
Whoever's in charge of drawing her boobs is a god. They just look great almost all the time.
You're just mad Vampy isn't as cute and isn't top tier.
Nina is better than expected. However, Favaro was the fucking best and Kaisar and Amira just made everthing better.
She has room for being great as well but needs a better party because Kaisar is now a boring cuck and the show sucks Azazel's dick too much
>implying I use a bubble-brained loli as a leader for the most metal craft in the game.
You wish you had cards this good.
I couldn't be more MEH about Amira if I tried. Favaro was okay. Kaisar will get better once he frees his balls from the King's crushing hold. Kaisar, Rita and Azazel will definitely be good as a party.
Yes but it's fucking hot.
>be a horny young gal
>transform into a horrifying monster when aroused
is this some sort of puberty metaphor?
I can't hear you over my 11 damage on turn 6.
Do they expect me to actually give a fuck about what Azazel wants? He was a fucking ashole last season he should just be enslaved or killed like the rest of the (((demons)))
often boys don't like girls as MCs because it's harder to self insert (by which i mean "understand the emotions and motives") what can be funny or hot for a girl when Nina nearly comes just by the sight of pretty face, for others might be cringeworthy
The same goes for girls (f.ex. in harem, when MC bumps into girl boobs by accident, or doesn't understand what did girl mean when she was confessing. Tho nowadays it's cringe for almost everyone.
That's why Dishonored 2 in the end had also male MC option
That's also what one of guys from CDPR told in interwiew as why won't they make new witcher with Ciri as main hero
It's just how people are, and there is nothing wrong when someone feels like it.
Yeah it's weird,There wasn't a word of commotion in the city of a random dragon wrecking the city, maybe they thought it was the work of the Rag demon. Either way it's a major breech to their defences, you'd expect more of a reaction. I wonder if the Orleans Knights are on City duty so perhaps Kaiser may have gone easy on her while patrolling the city but that's an interaction between two major characters and unlikely to be skipped over. It was dark out so they might not have gotten a good view of her. While they might be suspiciouns it's unlikely guards would believe this cheery girl with unusual strength is working with a demon. I mean, the people of the city and humans are prospering, why would a human fight with a demon
With Kaiser in under the watch of Cheerios I wonder if that Knight who showed displeasure at Kaiser's actions during the victory parade/cheerios returning from latest Angel battle in the first episode will come into play. Will Kaiser take action against the Empire while a Knight or after being forced out...
does emo stalker who calls her kisama count?
When will he call her by name?
>that scene where Nina knocked Favaroooo from his horse
too fucking funny
These four are the main characters, right? So when is Favaro going to show up?
>Favaro doesn't appear
>annoying favarofags won't stop bitching about Favaro not appearing
>annoying favarofags won't shut about Favaro appearing
I think I prefer the old "ancient evil awakens" plot to this whole humans vs demons/angels/gods thing to be honest. I doubt the story will stay that straightforward of course, I just hope that it doesn't get too dredged up in it.
You sure hate fun. First season was great because Favaro, Kaiser and Amira's interactions were funny. Nina, Kaiser, loli zombie can be an interesting mix, my only complain would be having Azazel as the heroic type in this season. But I want to see Nina dropping her spaghetti when she sees Favaro, the nigga is really hot now.
>king doesn't even show up in the ED
>sucks Azazel's dick too much
I think they're settling back into making him the butt of jokes though, anon.
Remember that in series 1 he started off as a genuine threat before becoming the resident humiliation sponge.
Something about the way this anime does faces is so fucking off to me.
You can't just color the lips like that if you're not going to define them. It makes everyone look like clowns.
You're so butthurt about Azazel getting the spotlight. It's kind of cute. Have some Messiah imagery.
Pls stop posting, Vampy. Everyone knows that Albert belongs to his favorite officer.
I don't even dislike Granblue. But this isn't fair. This isn't fair at all.
I like Nina; they're putting so much effort into all her facial expressions.
I prefered OP1 but this new ED is cute as heck.
Did they hate each other or something?
Dibs on this Angel Nee-san
Imagine fucking her while she's in her dragon form.
Quality is always better then QUANTITY.
How did you get a picture of my girlfriend?
Last season there were hints to plot twists in characters' names and shit, we just need someone that knows shit about angels.
I want to see KotRT show up in this or another season of Bahamut.
>yfw Mappa keeps making 2-cour seasons every other year based off old events from the game with its OC
Would be glorious.
Why did she put her hand on her abdomen in this scene?
I watched the first episode of season 2 without knowing season 1 existed. I now just finished the episode in season 1 where Amira met her mother. I didn't ask for these feels. I didn't ask for any of this
>you will never fed and pamper Nina to the point she becomes your plump wife after you marry her
Midriffs are lewd.
Bared exposed midriffs are lewder.
Bared exposed midriffs with exposed belly buttons are super lewd.
>Amira shows up in a town where Favaro and Kaiser are
>She beats up a summoned demon
>Favaro is forced to team with her
>Jeanne stuff with her army
>Jeanne eventually betrayed, Beelzebub and Azazel corrupt her
>Michael and the other Archangels aren't able to stop this
>Amira finds out more clues about her mother and "father"
>Bahamut is unlocked again through Amira after the bad guys get the Zeus and Hades keys
>Amira was gonna end up being Bahamuts container
>Nina fantasizes about multiple guys
What a innocent little country bumpkin she is.
if the humans can't even beat one random dragon girl how do they expect to take down all the dragons allied with the demons?
No, what is this ? It´s completely different. Who the heck is the king ? Where was he when there was Bahamut ? Wasn´t Favaro named the king ? No seriously what is this ? Where is Favaro ?
It lost the magic it had in first 3 episodes in first season.
Where is Favaro ?
Would this virgin dragon round up all the bishounens she can find and horde them inside a cave somewhere pouring oil over their naked bodies to see them glisten? Do you think her mother actually cares about the shit she writes in her letter or is just waiting to hear about some attractive man she meets to have fantasies about them?
>they call him Kaiseru
Ok, whose face am i going to slap for doing this ?
Also Favaro looks great, WHEN ?
>Who the heck is the king ?
Son of the last faggot king from first season.
>Where was he when there was Bahamut ?
Depends on his age now. Season one happened ten years ago in Virgin Soul.
>Wasn´t Favaro named the king ?
Because Favaro doesn't give a shit about tittles, he was made into a knight, but he refused the tittle in favor of ADVENTURES, possibly trying to find a way to bring back his waifu Amira.
>you will never be Kaiser's chopped-off, reanimated hand
Not at all? I only remember people praising the show for having such an "alpha" and "likeable" main character, although I initially thought he was an annoying cunt who ran away from all his problems and only become either of us towards the end of the series.
Best show of the season.
It will be GOAT anime soon enough.
Thanks to the brews of my potion seller, I can regrow a new one!
Kaisar is fighting by Charioce's side, but he's also facing him.
I'd eat his ham.
if you know what I mean.
If you play in granblue and watch the show you will be able to purchase a good character at the season end, for free. All you had to do is to make a photo of the screen of your TV with the show during the broadcast time with an app.
That's why granblue numbers are so inflated.
But there is no watermark on amazon
This is Amazon.
forget what I wrote, I'm retarded
From the trailer there will be another dance scene with the King and Nina this time. I hope it lives up to Amira and Favaro's flamenco dance.
And watching that scene again made me miss Favaro even more. I cannot wait until he shows up again.
>There are people on this board that would hurt and take advantage of these virtuous young maidens
Demons are assholes too. You had Azazel in season one orchestrating the deaths of Kaisar and Favaro's fathers and then taunting them about it for shits and giggles.
Humans finally had enough.
Neets can't self insert into Nina. Just like season one where they couldn't self insert into Favaro. I watched the first two episodes of Granblue, and while it's not isekai the MC is bland enough where it's easy to self insert into him.
Right subclavian artery, maybe a lung as well.
>which would of gotten his heart as well.
That'll have to be a funnily shaped dagger.
I like Nina. What I don't like is the opening; death metal has no place in anime openings (unless of course the anime is about death metal).
I wish I knew anon. She deserves so much better.
ED is better than OP this time. Catchy as fuck, is it better than My DESTINY !!! though ?
That aside, is Favaro going to show up and deal with everything ? Doesn´t he have something like God status now ?
Well if Jeanne and Kaisar are any indication, them being heroes who saved the world doesn't give them any special treatment. Jeanne is locked up somewhere(again), Kaisar is treated like a disposable dog by the king, I have have no doubt Favaro's gotten himself in a shitty situation too given how his luck is.
Shit, you are right. What happened ?
But, his sword ?
I thought the ED was better than the OP in season one too. But nah, season twos ED isn't nearly as good as My Destiny. It's still a shitload better than the season two OP though.
That was made up by the villain though. Amira was a clone of her "mother".
I mean she was still mentally a child though, but by the end she seemed to have developed a mature brain after becoming part of Bahamut.
>That'll have to be a funnily shaped dagger.
It's still uncomfortable because all their interactions before the very last one were virtually between an adult and a little kid. Fava's relationship was 99% with that kid, not suddenly adult Amira who he knew for 10 seconds.
Seemed like it. But that was one hell of a passionate kiss on her part.
He's referred to as a holy child. So I'm guessing he has a closer connection to Micheal given he has the same eyes too.
Which means imminent Jeanne /ss/ is on the way if he is Micheal's reincarnation.
I like her character-wise, but the whole "turning into a dragon whenever turned on" schtick is going to get old fast I think. She's better when she's not constantly spilling her spaghetti.
Lesbian haircut is the shit in Japan right now
Chill the fuck out. I was responding to his post, not agreeing with him. I honestly don't care what gender a main character is, so long as they entertain me.
Her being bashful is a big part of her character and her extreme reactions are perfectly justified given the consequences if a guy does get too close. I really like how they made her being a cute moe girl actually justified and part of the story.
Nina is beyond fucking adorable, this show being full of well animated blushing scenes is going to be great.
The story is looking pretty uhh.
>Demons are the bane of humanity
>Humanity wins in the end
>muh poor oppressed DEMONS
Their time will come
Promise Land/MY DESTINY!!! is the best track on Genesis OST
Angels and gods seem to be in one allied faction in the RoB anime universe for now at least
This, but this displeases the heavens and they're good demons out there
When I saw this frame I couldn't help but think of Kirby going "Haiii"
>RoB still doesn't have Leaders in Shadowverse
Kasier - Sword
Rita - Shadow
Nina - Dragon
The shota kid who's name I forgot - Haven
Favaro - Forest
We'll get them in the idol special together with Medusa and Monica.
>I also find it hard to believe the king would just let her be after an incident like this.
If we assume she passed out somewhere the guards didn't see her, they probably still think she's just something Azazel summoned and dismissed.
A bit concerned that Charioce seems to be bringing even more shit down likely in the next couple of eps. What are they going to do with the remaining 20?
favaro will have his impact as a free button to transform into a dragon, the old womanizer.
She almost transforms all the time with people that have no intention of boning her, you can just imagine what happens when she meets out hit-on-every-woman guy.
Favaro's gotten pretty handsome in 10 years anon.
World destruction is just the dramatic two-parter of romcoms.
>kowaresou de koware ya shinai
>afuresou de afure mo shinai
I like it, really catchy. Is it Nina´s VA singing ?
Why lengths will he go too to exert revenge upon the world that destroyed his best shota friend Miguel?
>inb4 goes back in time and saves Miguel
>it creates an alternate timeline where Miguel monsters don't exist
>turns out the Lizardman you fought in the tutorial was a Miguel monster
>cause Knight didn't battle the Miguel monster, they never met completed the tutorial therefore never met Reina
>cause Knight never met Reina they never became aware of their talents and died in some monster atk
>lead to events bad ends and that universe going to shit cause no Knight to help save the day
>contradictions between the universes causes space time to destroy/rest/combine(?) both universes
>demons working to fasten the process
>up to the Knight, Pascha and friends to stop this
>also Mysteria civil war, Annne vs Grea
ywn play 4th anniversry, it HURTS
pls correct me if I'm wrong, anons
It;'s all part of his plan to glorify the human race. Dancing in order to summon and control dragon powers, he's gonna be all suave and persuasive and unluckily for Nina there ain't gonna be a Rita punch waiting for Foolish Cheerios when he gets to bishi
I believe in you, Medusapedo. There's still time to correct your taste
He is tired of his demon underlings being jobbers and ran out of books to read.
It's amazing to me that, even though I liked the first season of this show I have almost no recollection about what actually happened in it.
How did it end? Did Favaro die? How long after the first season is this? I literally only remember Rita was a main character in the first season when she punched Azazel, and I couldn't even tell you if Azazel was even in the first season. Was he the main antagonist demon? It's like I didn't even watch this show at all.
The kiss was adorable, I don't know why are you complaining. For a fag that fucks sluts without a second thought, Favaro and Amira's romance felt like one between two kids.
Even in the end Amira kissed him like her mama Bahamut told her to.
>How did it end?
Favaro is the holy knight and seals away Bahamut
>Did Favaro die?
No, but the Bahamut's destruction causes his leg to blow off
>How long after the first season is this?
>Was he the main antagonist demon?
No, that was Beelzebub
go rewatch it
>Amira tries to find her mother
>Favaro tries to bone her, but gets locked into a contract with her, he has to help her
>Kaisar chases after him due to misunderstanding
>Kaisar picks up Rita during his journey
>Azazel tries to murder ningens, loses against Favaro, Kaisar and Jeanne, jobbs pretty much against everybody and is betrayed by Beelzebub
>Also he was an asshole who killed Kaisars and Favaros Fathers for shits and giggles, breaking their friendship
>Beelzebub was the true mastermind behind everything and Amira is the key to unlock Bahamut.
>Beelzebub frees Bahamut, but surprise you can't control him and he dies
>Kaisar and Favaro team up together and reseal Bahamut at the cost of Amira
>Kaisar recovers his lost status as noble and becomes a Knight
Quick summary from my memory
>drop Bahamut because of female mc
>disregard Kaisar and Azazel getting peak airtime
Yeah nah, Favaro is a sperg and he can't carry the show alone. You're just a self insert fag.
No, you just don't be a hypocrite by condemning demons for lashing out at humans to being 10x as cruel as anything we've seen demons do to humans.
The conflict is too simplstic/badly written to turn into race war memeposting, knock that shit off already.
Angels have carried the ningens since time immemorial and didn't deserve this treatment. This same arrogance will be your folley
You know. Being supported by the angels and celestial entities since forever basically. Only to turn your back on them and kill them all. Only makes you look bad you know?
Do you have no pride or respect?
>/power of human kind/
>a bunch of fat aristocrats torturing, murdering, and desecrating the corpses of malnourished and powerless females and children is a proud society of humans
I'm mostly just cheering for Azameme. Burn that motherfucker to the ground.
A "superior" society isn't superior unless it acts superior. The Brits figured that out centuries ago, and it's why they spread as rapidly and dominantly through the world as they did. It's not even about the ethics of things. They were fine with the colonials owning slaves, but deemed their air too pure for anyone but a free man to breathe.
>implying torturing demons is evil
They're not even human. Also demons have evil alingment by default, so you can smite without any problem. A demon kid is still a demon.
Angels mostly had done fuck all, except dragged humanity into some shitty eteranl cockfight between them and demons.
Nothing you're saying matches up with the events depicted within the show itself. I can't even tell if you actually even watch the show and aren't just shitposting out of boredom here or something.
I dont think all demons in that verse are evil. Turning against the angels was a dick move, that said, it was probably preemptive since they would have been against the power Charioce found. Lets just leave it at that. Its good to be on top. And some demons like Azazel and co do deserve to be slaves, but some fat nobles using them for blowjobs is zero taste. I know Charioce probable didnt give a shit about that but still.
>buh muh evil :D
Demon's treat humans like shit (apparantly, even though within the series we've seen as many "evil" humans than we have demons) -> Humans lash out and treat demons like even worse shit > Demons lash out and treat demons like even worse shit > repeat ad infinitum. Why the fuck are you acting like you've never seen this textbook conflict setup before?
You don't have to "feel sympathy" for the demons, you just have to not be dense and understand the situation going on.
>implying torturing demons is evil
Tormenting things is generally what ill-behaved boys and subhumans do. It's mean and petty. If they wanted to properly genocide the things, fine, vae victus and whatnot, but the way the society works in the show suggests that the monarch is just a twisted tyrant. It's even worse, because we get to see the cunts groveling for their lives whenever they encounter Azazel. The society that the king created is grotesque and cowardly.
I had the same problem, so I marathoned it yesterday. Here's the rundown.
>Amira's "mother" is an angel that is kidnapped by Beelzebub. He uses magic to create Amira from her mother. This leaves Amira as a half-angel half-demon. Then they speed of her aging process. Amira is actually only five years old when S1 take place, which is why she acts so childish. When she was born, the first person she met was Martinet (aka Gilles de Rais) who gives her a pendant that implants false memories in her while she wears it. Then he tells her that her mother is waiting in Helheim.
>At some point Amira had broken into the sanctuary of the angels to steal the god key, one of the two keys created from Zeus and Satan collaborating to seal Bahamut. The god key becomes part of her when she steals it.
>Like the Terminator, Amira appears in town and steals some dude's clothes. While walking past a bar she overhears Favaro telling some barsluts some bullshit about knowing a shortcut to Helheim. When questioned about it, he says he'll tell her about it for a kiss. She kisses him and he grows a demon tail as a part of the contract magic she used on him.
>Favaro is terrified of Amira at this point because she's a goddamn murder-machine and he promised her to take her to Helheim, a frigid wasteland he has no clue how to get to.
>Meanwhile, a bunch of knights including Jeanne D'Arc are chasing down Amira to recover the god key. Also meanwhile, Kaiser is chasing down Favaro because he thinks Favaro had betrayed his father and gotten him killed. Favaro lets Kaiser think that to give Kaiser a rivalry and a reason to live. In reality, it was Azazel that was responsible for the death of both Kaiser and Favaro's fathers. And Azazel did that purely for entertainment. So I have no idea why Kaiser isn't trying to mow him down in S2.
>The gang passes through some town filled with zombies. They destroy a book that has been controlling Rita for 200 years. Rita is bitten by her zombie parents during this process and becomes a zombie herself. She starts to follow Kaiser because she doesn't have anything better to do.
>Everyone dicks around for a bit, trying to catch Amira and whatnot. The king is tricked into thinking Jeanne D'Arc, a saint that is blessed by angels, is actually a witch who is trying to kill him. So he burns her at the stake. While she is being burned, she is visited by Martinet who turns her into a demon. She is possessed and tricked into thinking the gods had forsaken her to be burned at the stake, when really they had no idea and were trying to contain Bahamut at the time. One of the angels had given her a sword that can kill gods, which was a bad idea, because she kills him and a bunch of others with it.
>Meanwhile, the gang is aboard Beelzebub's flying spaghetti monster. Martinet and Beelzebub introduce Amira to her mother. Who was all fucked up. Amira hugs her mother. But her mother held the demon key, and it fuses with Amira as her mother dies.
>Rita is onboard Bacchus' flying carriage and makes an antidote for the drug Martinet uses to turn people into demons. Jeanne D'Arc gets the antidote.
>The spaghetti monster flies toward Bahamut, which forces Amira, the completed key, to fuse with and revive it.
>Favaro and Kaiser fly on Hamsa, Bacchus' duck pal, to get to Bahamut and use one of its fangs to break the key.
Then everyone lives happily ever after. Except the king who burned to death under a giant painting of his mother in a castle fire. And Amira, who is now a part of Bahamut somewhere. And Martinet, who had his soul turned into one of those bounty hunter playing cards by Favaro (Kaiser lost his hand doing this). And Beelzebub, who was killed by Bahamut immediately after it was resurrected. And Jeanne D'Arc who murdered her guardian angel.
No all races must come together in harmony.
That's the part that I dislike the most about Virgin Soul. Azazel killed Kaiser's father for fun. Kaiser chased Favaro to the end of the Earth when he thought he killed his dad. But Azazel? Apparently he gets a free pass.
The animation for the OP was great, but the song sucked.
I generally enjoyed the ED, but it's not as good as Promised Land. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZrjz1ORCVQ
Nina is still very cute, and will continue to be an easily exploitable source of reaction faces.
It's funny to see how hard the demons are getting fucked considering how long they've been shitting on humans. Probably going too far, but they're getting revenge.
>Kaiser chased Favaro to the end of the Earth when he thought he killed his dad. But Azazel? Apparently he gets a free pass.
That's kind of the thing though. He did indeed do that, and it only made things worse and worse for not only himself, but the people around him as well.
And it wasn't until he put that behind him that he could finally start contributing to making a change for the better.
As much as I like Kaisar and Favaro of S1. Having them be the very same characters in S2 would be more infuriating than anything.
