I hate it because it took a good series and remade it into shit.

As a physics student I greatly enjoyed it, like >>155890608 said. Probably in my top 5 of anime because it combined the things I love in anime in a well-executed manner: Hot-bloodedness, good physics/sci-fi, and beautiful animation.
