After having not seen or read anything about Berserk I decided to watch it. It was pretty good despite having no ending. Is the manga worth picking up like I did with Gantz?

yeah it is. you would think there would be some pacing issues considering it's been in development for 30 years but it still reads well from start to finish.

manga is obviously better than the show. I say you came in a good time to start since the authorsupposedlyresumed monthly volumes from hiatus.
