I wouldn't sugar coat it as none of that really matters in regards to the plot in the long run.

It quickly falls apart once you reach the midway point where none of that really matters and the show (and I guess the manga too from where it leaves off) doesn't know if it wants to be serious or light hearted, leading to a mess of development of characters.

The best thing I can say about the show is the use of the OST was on point for stirring up emotions.

This is by the numbers romcom. I've seen this shit done dozens of times before and this actually is worse because he never goes through with the revenge and feel guilty.
Instead the author decided to retcon to make a character who wasn't his stuck up pet worse and make her seem like a saint.
