I feel one of the more important things is translating the sense of style Persona 5 gives off in every aspect of its visual design. If there isn't a moment in each episode where the audience is going "That's so cool!", then something's already gone wrong.

The anime cutscenes in the game are pretty generic. The anime needs to figure out a way to carry over all the style that the interface has.

Make it a movie that tells an original story that takes place AFTER the end of the game that's written by Shinji Yamamoto and Katsura Hashino (the writers for P5) rather than just a condensed adaptation of the game's story.

Have it handled by Production I.G (who did the anime cutscenes for P5) rather than A1 Pictures.

Have it directed by Mamoru Oshii. Not only is he a great director, but I can actually see him being a great fit for a Persona movie. He can make it P5 meets Urusei Yatsura 2: Beautiful Dreamer.
