Funny, isn't it, how in 2002, everyone and their dog was claiming that RahXephon was Evangelion done right . . . and yet, in 2017, it's basically forgotten, and Evangelion is still a viable franchise.

My favorite part of RahXephon was when they aired an episode about magic living rocks and it had almost nothing to do with anything, and then at the end of the final episode it was revealed that there was an old man living inside of a young woman, and the main character was his own grandpa, and then absolutely nothing that we've seen mattered because they've just reset the timeline. I love Bones, they're such good writers. Only they could've produced such masterpieces of modern day storytelling as Eureka 7: Pocketful of Rainbows and Eureka 7 AO.
