As for Ursulas age we know a few things.

1:She looks younger in the flashbacks Akko sees so she did not become world famous at the age of 16.

2:10 years have passed since she stopped being Chariot.

This just leaves us with the question of how old she was when Akko saw her in the show. We can speculate a few things, that she graduated from Luna Nova (so min 18) and that it has to take some time to become a house hold name who is famous from England all the way to Japan (2-4 years?)

Add all of this together and I don't see any way for her to be younger than 30-32 and that as a lower bound. 36 really does not seem out of the realm of possibility at all.

Diana tends to come across very cold but I think at heart she has the right intentions. I think one of the major themes of the show is that her and Akko are actually very similar at the core, that is the significance of them both being Chariot fans. They just go about it differently, Akko is fiery and impulsive and Diana is cool and logical.

In KLK I was a massive Gamako shipper because even even though Trigger teases them, they are still good enough characters to stand on their own with established role and purposes, both of which are not tied to the other. So it feels much natural than Andrew's introduction, which basically screams "Here is your love interest!": A handsome dude who got fawn over by every girls in the school yet due to chance stumble upon our special MC and develops an interest in her because she's unique. 10/10 writing right there. He's also not an every interesting character and doesn't even have much stake in the story as of now.

I like Andrew (not as much as Frank, though), but that's a massive overstatement. He's only a little above the Green/B Team, because he has something that can actually be called a character arc. Akko and Chariot have been the ones carrying the show and now that Croix appeared and Diana's development is starting, those two can be added to the list.

As a character, he's not really that intersting, however, I wouldn't go that far to say that he's "shoehorned" like that one shitposter says, he has a function as a representation of the one point of view missing in the list: The Muggle one.

I will agree that his introduction was a little forced, but I guess I'm just seeing what I assume will be the show as a whole.
I'm hoping that Andrew will get character development that doesn't involve Akko, because at the moment he is really just an accessory.
It's not like he's the only love interest anyways, Sucy clearly has complicated feelings for Akko, but that probably won't get developed at this point, and Diana was in a Love triangle with Yuto and Akko in the shoujo manga, and I see that as a possible role for her to fill here eventually as well.
I liked both RyuMako and GaMako, but I will agree that it was really natural character development from both sides.

I mean yeah I can see Akko blows her yay into him to make him follow his dream but then that would be still be so out of place in the overall plot.
