Do you prefer PriPara or Aikatsu songs? To me, PriPara songs are more memorable and fun, but the performance segments probably contribute to that.

PriPara performances are really fun to watch but it also helps that they're played so many times that you end up remembering all of them.
Stars songs have been mostly forgettable but OG up until S4 had some real good shit, especially during Akarigen.
To me it's PriPara = Akarigen > Ichigogen> Stars

I feel like the number and quality of Aikatsu songs is, on average, much better than PP/PR, but I feel that has a lot to do with banrise being able to pump unlimited money into it.
And that's something the Tomy productions have always had to compensate for when competing with banrise considering their mother company never seems to want to invest too much into the shows.
That being said, I prefer PP/PR when it comes to overall performances mostly because PP performances feel more endearing to me and PR excelled in tying prism shows to major plot points and character development.
For me, PR music is memorable because of the anime while Aikatsu is memorable because of its music.
That being said, I prefer PP/PR when it comes to overall lives.

Pretty sure all those songs in the arcade machines are made specifically for the game and are roughly 2 minutes in length or less to match playtime, which is too short for a live in the anime without an extended remix.
That and Tomy probably isn't giving them budget for more lives, the entirety of PP's animation is already outsourced to korea after all.

PP for me, probably because I find the styles they go for more interesting. While there are some really amazing exceptions, like Juri's or Lily's songs, most Aikatsu songs seem to be more standard high-quality J-Pop. Dressing Pafe's rock-styled songs, Hibiki's musical/operatic style songs (What a WonderPri World is simply divine), Aro/Garmageddon's more wicked/spooky ones just get me omoshiroi ja nai more.

Plus iRis's songs are all top quality, too and the one World Standard song I've heard so far I've really loved.

The more generic J-pop PriPara songs like Salami's ones, PriPara Dancing, Growin' Jewel, the Idle Time ED I'd rank below most Aikatsu songs.

That said, I haven't yet got around to actually going and listening to the full versions of all the Aikatsu songs as I keep meaning to.

I liked Sumire a lot, too, but I felt the arc was fine. I enjoyed Ako's story too, because even if she did the right thing and suffered for it, it was still her choice to make. It was harsh, but that didn't mean it was badly written. Lily's was just disappointing and made everything seem pointless.

I somehow never put together Yozora liking travel and knowing three different languages, and Romance Kiss having a worldwide theme together until this scenario spelled it out. Now she's in France too.

I wish we'd gotten to see more of Tsubasa beyond changing classes and the one time she had a pet. Also more from Rola somehow, her family likes music and she's into that one band but hell if we know of anything from her childhood. Ako is a groupie that's it for all we know she's an alien cat driving a human shaped robot on a mission to gather information on humans because I don't remember them giving us story on her. I want to meet at least one of Hime's childhood friends or a relative that can prove she's not a changeling.

I think there was one Photokatsu scenario that explained how Tsubasa used to take care of Hime during their 1st(?) year whenever Hime became weak from the rain. Otherwise I don't think there was much worthwhile info from their storylines.

I'd really like to see Ako's family. We only know she's an ojousama from the way she speaks, but nothing else like her ability in ballet or hobby of playing the violin. They also forgot about how she's a supposedly poor cook too
