The former list has become deeply ingrained in the English culture, so just use them unless you have a specific reason to do otherwise.
Grappler Baki is still being scanlated (it's in its last arc) because there's an anime, and the people working on the serious at the time thought it a good excuse to skip over Grappler. It's an awful anime, but it's a way to tie the current scanlation progress to the next series. But, you do not need to actually watch the last arc as nothing from it is ever referenced again, other than the permanent cast of characters. They are, essentially, reintroduced in the second series. Many people skip over the anime and go to the second series without missing a beat and without losing any information. After that, it's straight-shooting.

See, Wild Fang did this thing where they skipped ahead and started an aggressive recruitment campaign, so I thought it'd be really funny to release the exact same chapters as them on my own, but faster and better. I released these chapters on Batoto alone. It worked, and they got pissed off. My plan was (and is) to just erase those kinda shoddily-produced chapters once we got to them in the actual team releases, which was supposed to be very soon. Suddenly, redrawer disappears, DDoSing crap happens, etc; our releases crawled to a halt for a little while. Short timeskip; the team leader scolded me because of my uploads; he ended up putting those releases on the SpinyBack website, so that the site might get more traffic. Because of this, it appeared/appears to those not in-the-know that the team uploaded a bunch of out-of-order crap, when it was actually just my attempt to piss off Wild Fang.

If anyone is paying attention, I *am* actually deleting my chapters off of Batoto, and having the team releases replace them. So the plan is working; just, at a much, much slower rate than was initially intended.

Itagaki does draw really beautiful people. It's bizarre how he can combine the muscles with pretty faces. Baki for example has a gorgeous face in a feminine kind of way.
