Everyone saw the last Tournament between U6 and U7. Including Zeno.

I think the Beerus and The Battle of Gods arc/movie in general are one of the very best things in Dragon Ball.

I fucking love how this 'villain', is just doing his job. It's his divine *duty* to destroy, so Goku and friends can perhaps 'frown on it' but at the end of the day, Beerus is so much like the Z fighters he basically *is* one now. I love how quickly they became friends, and how much alike Beerus, Vegeta and Goku are. I love how Goku and Beerus fist-bump in the last episode of the arc during their fight.

It's just a really original and unique character and saga in DB, and I can't help but love it.

GT and Super aren't even remotely close. Super feels more like Z with elements of the original while GT was straight up pandering to the original series until the baby fight then it turned into grim-dark Z.

It isn't doing what GT is doing. Yeah there are a few parallels but Super's problem is markedly different I think.

Super's making it clear that the writers kind of want to go back the pre-Namek Saga vibes without entirely getting rid of what Namek Saga onwards established. Problem with that is that this straight up isn't possible, the series is too far gone with trashing it's supporting cast, making only 3-4 characters in the entire series relevant and setting in stone the power level-centric nature of the series. They can't "go back" without trashing everything the Namek Saga onwards established.

They should've just done a new series set in the future with a new main cast if they wanted to do this sorta setup, but then that wouldn't have gotten the same amount of attention I guess.

That wasn't the impression I was given. After the conversation ended and he was all by himself, he regreted that a peaceful resolution couldn't be achieved. He would have genuinely liked to save all the universes, but now he has no choice but to fight for the survival of his people.
He is without a doubt the best Kai, he cares about his universe and about others, he finds universal genocide to be horrible, he tries to resolve things peacefull but will use force when necessary, he gets along well with his GoD, he maintains good relations with his mortals and he isn't arrogant. He's the only God worthy of worship that we've seen.

Vegeta has ASS, USS, and SSJ2, and SSB so he either needs to reach SSB and skip all the other transformations or unlock a new transformation that will put him on par with the U7 Saiyans which isn't going to happen anytime soon.

Nappa himself was killed by Vegeta and not on Frieza's orders, so he didn't come back. At least that's my understanding of it.
