Like I said, he's just viewing the events of the past. I get that he might not like what he sees but screaming in anger about the seeming death of a person you know is still alive 3000 years later is unnecessary. Elizabeth is a special case. When Liz got killed and Mel destroyed Danafor he immediately found baby Elizabeth, which probably means that she's not being reborn but somehow turns into a baby when she dies. There was no time for a new baby to be born or even conceived and since she looks exactly like the original Elizabeth it clearly isn't just her soul possessing some random girl either. Rou and Ban are the only other example of people we've seen reincarnating directly and they look very similar. What's weirder is that they both fell in love with a fairy king sister even though Gerharde and Elaine are not reincarnations.

I don't think that's possible. Mel went berserk as soon as Liz died and the entire town was reduced to a hole almost immediately. There was also a huge fight going on with dragons attacking the town so finding a baby somewhere in the ruins would have been difficult, assuming there were even any babies being born at that time. Would be pretty morbid too in a sense. Imagine being a soul inhabiting a body and then suddenly some goddess soul comes in and kicks you out while mutating your body into something else.

The chapter

Seriously though, how could Ban ever overcome the power creep this series is experiencing?
Meliodas, Merlin and Escanor don't need a power-up, Arthur seems to be developping his latent magic, King and Diane are training with their Alpha versions so we can expect a good power boost, even Elizabeth is pulling her weight. Gowther is a weird case, but has plenty of room to grow.

But it doesn't seem like it's the case for Ban. He's been left in the dust long ago as far as power levels are concerned, doesn't have anybody to train him, or obvious latent powers, and his seemingly OP abilities have shown to be mostly ineffective against comandment level enemies. Even factoring his regeneration, he his Holy knight captain at best, and it doesn't cut it this far in the story. So where does he go from here?

King returns to being the rightful fairy king of the forest, spawning a new fountain of youth, meaning that Ban's blood pool is unneeded, Gerharde puts it all back in him and he ends up on steroids like a real-life athlete?

Again, I like Ban and think he is fine as the immortal thief, but it seems like unless he gets a pretty damn good power-up to manage stand-up fights with the arc's foes, writing him into battles is going to be difficult.

And thinking about it, what is it gonna change for him now that his commandment is back? It's a bit confusing. It seems he betrayed the demons before losing it anyway so he's not coming back to them, and it looked like his power nerf was only because of the heart removal.

I had completely forgotten that King's back ached after being hit by his own Disaster power. So there is some force/curse preventing his wings from sprouting. Probably.
