Probably not.
Even if you skip all the fillers it can be a long series to go through. That said though, it being long makes can have some advantages. It tells the story of a boys life from small child to adult without really rushing it, and it gives you time to get to learn most of the characters that end up being important to the plot and can make their highlight scenes/endings/death scenes pretty worth it.

It really takes a long time and has it fair share of pandering and sometimes retarded moments. I'd say give it a shot, the series starts getting good around the Chuunin Exams imo, and if the series ever get boring, you can always note down what episode you were on and come back later, it can be pretty cozy.

Aside from the ChouChou, Sarada, and Mitsuki most of the kids are too similar to their parents in terms of appearance, personality, and abilities but maybe that's intentional. The Boruto manga is a monthly series with 11 chapters so far of which most have been a Boruto movie rehash. The gaiden seems to happen near the Academy graduation timeframe and the new series is set before that, so it could be 30-100 episodes or more before getting to chapter 700, the gaiden series and the movie again, let alone however long it'll take to get to the timeskip shown in the intro.

It seems to be intended to represent around chapter 700 when it was drawn going by the outfits and hairstyles which is why things seem a bit odd with the timeframe now, since that chapter is after Boruto is in the academy. Maybe they altered the academy entrance timeframe to be closer to the Boruto movie since they are using the movie outfits in the series already instead of the chapter 700 ones. That shit is one of the biggest cases of forced drama. There's no reason why Naruto can't just take a day off or make the shadow clone do all the work while he sits with his family.
