Yoichi Fujita is returning to direct the series, and Shū Matsubara is returning to handle the series composition. Other main staff members, and the main voice cast for the Matsuno brothers are also returning.

The Rakuten Books retailer had listed last month that the upcoming Osomatsu-san Kobanashi Atsume (Mr. Osomatsu Funny Short Story Collection) Blu-ray Disc and DVD release would include a "Spring Nationwide Top Mr. Osomatsu Episode Screening Festival's 'Season 2 Announcement Episode (Working Title).'"

Great. I love how they took such an old series and modernized it, while still keeping the stuff that made the original good.

Yeah, but the thing that really differs between Western voice acting and Japanese voice acting is that they usually have the actors in the same room recording at the same time. So if Ichi and Kara are in a scene together, their VA's will be recording their lines at the exact same time. I presume its so that they can feed off each others emotions/intensity so the feeling in their deliveries match.

I don't know if Japan would accept phoned in lines.

it was a really good and bittersweet episode, but imo she rejected his confession for a good reason, they still remained friends when jyushi ran to the train to say goodbye and things went right back to status quo after that. i dont know what else they could add to that story, its fine the way it is.

Cour 2 started following the fans, the e-jokes and pandering them which is why it was a dissapointment. But the Fujos lapped it up even more. Rather than being bad, it was capitalised on interest from a certain group to maximise profits, which it obviously did hence s2.

Regardless, I am excited for s2 I hope it's at least decent.

There are some still on Amazon but be careful who you buy from. I've bought 4 of them and luckily enough they aren't fakes, I compared them to the ones I preordered and bought from goodsmile. Look at their user rating and if they have a good track record the nendo you get is less likely to be fake. Or you can wait for goodsmile to re release them, who knows how long that'll take though. Karamatsu and ichimatsu are the hardest to find and most expensive.
If you buy from Amazon or eBay look for the signs of a fake, the figures should have a matte paint job, nothing glossy or sloppy looking. Parts should fit together nicely and not be the incorrect sizes. If you study the box bootlegs usually have inconsistencies. Normally you're supposed to look for a company seal of the studio, but I noticed even the ones I bought from goodsmile didn't have a studio pierrot seal on it, which was kind of weird. Oh and just a heads up, the extra facial stickers are taped to the back if the inside of the box, practically hidden, so don't accidently throw them away.
