Oh I just noticed (s)he used her hair to do that. That's pretty cool.
This author has a fetish for girls kicking ass it seems. I approve.
My only complaint is that the best friend is having no reaction/screentime at all despite Taiga obviously acting weird as hell.
Wait yeah this is a good point. I wonder if it's a sign of things to come or if its just as you said and the artist is taking advantage of the cover to show off Marie in different clothes.
>Why wouldn't he be able to change clothes in that form?
Did you miss last chapter?
I mean, it's fine, just not a whole lot to comment on. The stuff with Marie in the classroom was kind of funny, we're starting to see hints of a plot, will have to wait and see what happens next.
>but I imagine they would shower with clothes on.
That's just uncomfortable.
I'm fine with waiting, we're only six chapters in. I really do wonder what the overall plot will be.
How do they poop? How do they scratch their butt? How do they fap? I feel it would have been a better decision to establish that the girl form is some kind of invulnerable ghostly supernatural body. You don't have to explain magic but it raises a lot of questions when the body displays all the properties of a human except the clothes are glued on.
There's a lot of buffer before Marie is in any danger. Past three chapters have all had exclamations about the great response/feedback anyway.
Compare that to something like U19 which they've already given up on. I don't think a single chapter past the initial 3 got any promo text.
I don't care about the drama but I love the martial art poses.
We don't really know the reason. Like I don't really see the guy as a character that would do that anyway, so I don't see the author writing that in to prevent it. So it's possible it's just Marie not trusting him. Or magic. Hopefully it'll be explained soon.
The fight against Fedora guy and Yuzu (assuming they win) will establish baseline power levels, though if it's like Beelzebub he'll be above (especially in his real body) but I expect grandma and other family members (except Dad) to be massively above the current level.
I might put this on hold for now for 2 reasons
1: I don't want to get my hopes up following a series that ends up getting an early axe again
2: I kinda hated reading Beelzebub weekly, I reread the entire series a few weeks ago and I enjoyed the later arcs a little more then when I first read them week by week (plus it seems like jaimini is struggling a bit to get chapters out so it dosen't look like it will scheduled release day for a while)
Chapter 7 spoiler
The lunchbox Anna gave Marie, gets stolen. She cries around. Summons skeletons. Anna brings her a new lunchbox. The skeletons disappear. End.
Looks like Marie has the ability to connect to the afterlife.
Seeing how this is chapter 7, it's pretty much the end of Volume 1 and Tamura didn't manage to get me in one whole volume. Trash.
This somehow reminds me of Belzebub.
In fact the drawing style and deliquent theme are the same.
