Yeah, just finished reading Yabuki's afterword. He does say that while his next work might not be TLR, he says that TLR is like family to him now and might go back to it later, since there's a lot of stories that could still be told about it.

He says that instead of letting TLR completely go stale by keeping it going nonstop, a cooldown period might be needed for fans and the entire staff.

Both Yabuki and Hasemi mainly talk about the end of Darkness as somewhat of the end of Yami and Momo's character arcs. For Hasemi, it's Momo's changing of heart that makes him like it.

If you think about it, Yabuki pretty much never wnet on hiatus even when Black Cat was serialized unlike other Jump artists like Oda. I can't recall Yabuki going on a 2 week hiatus before.
