It really is the end for now.
" To Love-Ru" Darkness "Darkness" Originally I came up with my own selfish and made a blot and started spinning off Haseyami again, but as a result it has the same number of turns as no mark, and the number of years to serial last longer than no mark Now
I appreciate it sincerely thanks to your support. I would like to talk a bit about the circumstances leading up to completion to everyone who came up to here.
I decided to quit, I told Ms. Haseyami and the staff concerned about 5 S in June 2016 which celebrated the 10th anniversary. There are several reasons for this, but first of all, we can draw the story that can be done as "Darkness" by Momo and Yami who were conceived from the beginning in this episode.
Another thing was that I thought that it would be better to cool down around here a bit because the author and the reader were too used to inflation. Furthermore, it is the same as Muji, but 18 no ban ... not 18 volumes
In other words, it was the best to finish the 10th anniversary and finished here ... Many officials, editor-in chief, got an understanding.
I wanted to keep drawing manga without break I also had a painful part, but it was only judgment that I would not go on to keep dark "darkness" while carefully treating the work.
I think that the next work will be a work other than "To Love-Ru" for the moment, but for me it's no longer a "To Love-Ru" world like my house.
Since I'm thinking about the idea like "Magical girl thing" whose main role is being expanded and the leading role of beauty (lol) I honestly feel that I wish there are places and timing to let me draw someday.
Someday again…! "To Love-Ru" is immortal if everyone keeps supporting !! Thank you in the future! Kentaro Yabuki "
How long before Yabuki gets pressured into making more?
I can't even call this an open ending. It was even below that. There are axed manga out there that had a better ending than TLRD. And they quit on their own after 10 years. After so long, one should think they had a plan how to wrap this up.
It's not fucked up YET.
What we get right now is Haruna+Lala sharing end with Momo and the other heroines still trying to gun for Rito's dick.
What's fucked up would be clone end or Haruna end or complete nothing end.
We at least get bigamy ending.
I'm not good enough to give you a proper translation, but it sure sounds like he intends to return to TLR in due time.
Also, the magical girl thing is just a joke about an idea he had for a Mikan spinoff.
Yeah, just finished reading Yabuki's afterword. He does say that while his next work might not be TLR, he says that TLR is like family to him now and might go back to it later, since there's a lot of stories that could still be told about it.
He says that instead of letting TLR completely go stale by keeping it going nonstop, a cooldown period might be needed for fans and the entire staff.
Both Yabuki and Hasemi mainly talk about the end of Darkness as somewhat of the end of Yami and Momo's character arcs. For Hasemi, it's Momo's changing of heart that makes him like it.
This will be my new hope.
We get like 2 or 3 full volumes of essentially mikan bonus chapters until yabuki feels like going back to full TLR.
>Made a character based on his wife
>Ended up being just as shit as his wife
harem end of course. Even if a girl was chosen, the harem wouldn't end. He'll keep lewding with them anyways
Did Yabuki take a break from TLR to help conclude Hatena Illusion since it is getting an anime adaption and he was the LN illustrator and might have been privy to details about possible endings from the writer?

I believe in Yabuki. We'll get more some day. I think it is best that he take a break. As lewd and exciting as toloveru was, it was getting a bit stale in plot in a way, in regards to advancing the harem plan. I'll read anything Yabuki does, so I support his decision.
Basically, he got bored as fuck of this story and since it's in an anniversary he might as well end it on a big note in order to distance himself from it to work on more satisfying things and always have the option to go back to it when he needs money, that is, so long as he doesn't stay gone for too long and people start to move on from the series, which honestly depends on wither or not somebody better talented sizes this powergap to start pimping his waifus out. Honestly, I hope he never comes back to the series due to him finding success in other ventures.
>Magical Girl Mikan spinoff
Too good for this world.
tlr bunko. Re-release of the original tlr, 10 volumes with clothed and nude versions of the cover art. (except mikans she had a bikini, which i guess is to stay true to original TLR)
>Magical Girl story by the guy who wrote To Love Ru
Fuck yeah, fuck that shitty dragged out ecchi harem.
shit. forgot spoilers so jan-chan doesn't sperg out
I expect great things, I also wouldn't be surprised if we saw the occasional TLR cameo in whatever he does next.
>Got done fapping 5 minutes ago
>Check /a/ before heading to bed
Well shit son
>You will never have Nana manhandle you
>You will never be face first in loli Lala's cunny
What infinite sadness this third dimension has in store for us...
Is there any other ongoing series with art as good as TLR? Sucks that it's ending but really the only reason I bothered 'reading' was Momo, Mikan, Nemesis, other girls were just bonuses.
>We might get a manga where Mikan is thrown into embarrassing situations fighting crime as a magical girl.
none are as creative as yabuki art wise. some stuff like monsuga or tsugomomo are alright.
Should've gone to space a lot sooner, just think of all the aliens the girls could get groped by!
It's merely an if, because read the rest >>155466957
It's not a definite thing, rather something he could do since, as he says in his afterword, TLR has a lot of stories it can still offer. He's just using the 10th anniversary of the series to take a break.
The only reason Yabuki even drew all the way to this point was because of the editors and Hasemi.
well he said it just needs a break for a bit. which is fine. he'll be back to making tlr in a year or two.
he should just do a mikan + new girls spinoff next, doesn't have to be canon with the tlr timeline.
Could go back to doing a series with more action in it, amusing as being a madman was the stories themselves were rather lacking. And of course it gives him an excuse to draw ripped up clothing on people like Yami.
If you think about it, Yabuki pretty much never wnet on hiatus even when Black Cat was serialized unlike other Jump artists like Oda. I can't recall Yabuki going on a 2 week hiatus before.
And remember, Yabuki remarried a second time during TLR Darkness and no hiatus for a honeymoon break either.
Anyways, I think Yabuki should consider a timeskip to Rito's last year in highschool.
This should allow increase in fan service due to increasing age.
So is because of Yabuki that love-ru came to an end again...
If Hasemi is still into it they just need another artist.
Is not gonna be easy to find a replacement, Yabuki's drawings were one of the main selling points of love-ru. But he is not the only good ecchi mangaka in existance.
I kinda jizzed myself in the sequence inwhich Mea was against the assassins sent by Nemesis.
And even Gid VS Nemesis was not bad at all.
Yabuki can make the new tsugumomo if he want to. Even a better one.
He's basically saying he's sick of TLR in a the nicest way possible. I'd get bored of drawing Rito trip into vaginas every chapter as well.
Maybe if the story wasn't constantly kept in this neverending loophole then Yabuki would've found excitement in getting the story in a place where it progresses and mixes things up.
timeskips are normally bad ideas imo. they should keep goin like they were only make time start moving forward again. otherwise well miss some nice summer vacation fanservice and other holiday events. imagine a valentines day with momo and nemesis and the ecchi scenarios that theyll get into. would be a waste to have a timeskip and skip all the potential opportunities for some good fanservice.
>12 years of no meaningful progress in the story
>now it's ending
I wish he'd give it a year longer or so and draw more nemesis.
>still into it
Of course he's still into it, there's no story but it prints money anyway. He doesn't have to do anything.
>anime porn of underage high school girls
Why is this shit allowed? I'm glad it's over.
TLR doesn't really have a childhood friend.
And like I always had this nagging thought that in TLR universe, every planet besides Earth has royalty like a princess.
So like, Yabuki can introduce a childhood friend character who could be a princess from the lost civilization of Atlantis for example and Yabuki encountered her in childhood while on a family trip to a remote location in Japan.
She could be that Bamboo Princess from Japanese mythology.
>Implying is gonna be over with love-ru
>Implying aliens and bioweapons have a legal age
>Implying every female character has not already had their first bleeding that mark mother nature's legal age for mating.
It's time to let go, anon.
