Forget it. It's just another one of those guys who'll tell you it was badly written because not everything was spoon-fed. These people will never understand 60s and 70s manga. They think character development needs 100 chapters for it to be good. Mangafags today are exposition whores, and any information that's omitted, they'll tell you it's a blatant plot-hole, even though you're supposed to just infer that information on your own. I saw a guy even said that the ending was too quick and we should have seen more of the fight between the Devilmen and Satan's army of demons, while completely missing the point that the author tried to make.

Any drawn out fights that the author could have drawn wouldn't live up to what he built up to. I mean, the latest edition of the manga does add a few double pages at the end, but it's just more Akira vs Satan with no dialogue.

Also, if people wanted to explore the final arc in more details, there exists OVAs like Amon the Apocalypse of Devilman and Amon The Darkside of Devilman acting as supplementary material, but they're optional to the story in my opinion.
