Was Gambino Berserk's father?

Guts calls his father himself when he realizes he's feeling guilty for murdering him. Maybe he didn't teach him anything except swordfighting, but remember, it's the most important thing that aloowed Guts to survive and become who he is. He taught him the only thing Guts needed to know.
