In episode 5, when they're playing paper scissors rock, Maichan whacks Yukko with a 国語 (Japanese lit) book so hard that the 玉 falls off, leaving 口語 (spoken-language/vernacular lit).
The sound effect that appears during this is "Gascoigne", as in George Gascoigne, generally regarded as the earliest prominent modern English writer to use spoken-language/vernacular prose.
I still can't explain why Yukko then cries "God is dead".

Funimation makes trash boxsets. They're dirt cheap and not worth it. You're better off finding Japanese copys.

It will either be cheap plastic or cardboard boxset (Like the kind you find at Asian malls with fansubs) or even if it has an substance will be nowhere near as good as what someone else could have done.
