Am I autistic or is there something about this show that compels you to start episode 1 after finishing episode 27? This is one endless cycle I don't wish to struggle against.
it's spiral power compelling you towards the apocalypse

Luluco? Neither of them have that hard to pinpoint feeling of forward movement that defines Gurren Lagann

They have better presence as background characters, as part of the group. Individually they're 1 dimensional and systematically killing them off feels like a waste.

Without them all dying the double helix line is kinda weak, their deaths while Simon is helpless to stop it and then "It's not just me, these bozos too" are well worth it.

Maybe the second movie but not the first. Things just move along a bit too quickly in that film and you never get a chance to fall in love with the characters. I say watch the show up until the time skip then watch the second movie for the best experience.

Pretty sure that's the last part of the Ep 27 fight with Simon's speech. Or Kittan's sacrifice. Or the multidimensional maze.
Well, anything from eps 25-27 goes.
