Pork, Mutton, Beef, and Venison have special names, but "Poultry" is a term for the bird, not the meat, as the meat is actually still called Chicken, or Turkey, etc.
all of those special terms come from differences between the french and english terminology when the normans invaded england.
The french did the cooking, so they used french words for meats, but the english did the hunting, so they used english words for the animals.
Venison was derived from latin, but still in that context.

So if it's not an animal that is both hunted AND cooked in norman controlled england, it would only have one name.

Dragon meat would still be dragon meat. Especially if a dragon is the one cooking the dragon meat.

It's really generic, but KyoAni's usual production values and Kanna's cuteness make it an above average anime.
