I'd say customers hate the pricing scheme, but not digital releases (it's kind of a big deal not to have to lug around a physical library every time you change residence). Collectors might hate digital releases, for obvious reasons.

Manga companies just do what they've always done because fuck modern stuff, grorious nippon knows best!
