The developments were nice, it was not a tired "muh understanding" resolution but the villians kinda see the light on their own, (being forced to fight with the main guys against the last boss also helped)

Great plot, but terrible timing/pacing, an unforgivable asspull, inclusion of magic bullshit, and the author losing interest in writing it completely ruined the series for me. It got to the point that I would find myself wishing fake spoilers were real more than what actually happens. One in particular I think could've been a great and very unique route to go down but sadly that didn't happen. (It was basically, a certain existing character turned disabled children into titans under the promise that their missing limbs/senses would return or to parents, that their child would no longer be mentally retarded. Another theory I liked is the one that doesn't involve time loops which are now confirmed.)

Oh, one more thing: Every character is fucking stupid. Realistic, but not fun to read. The character that's supposed to be smart really just says obvious shit and is played off as a genius, and the one time he said something genuinely surprising, it was written as a joke. Author is probably not very intelligent himself, or so depressed he can't give a shit. Likely both.

I really wish Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle was better. Pretty much the only time a studio tried to bring all their diverse shows into a crisis multiverse.

Mirai Nikki had a great first episode, where they established an interesting premise, fought that first guy and beat him using their phone cameras.
It could have been a great show about taking down their occasionally-supernatural opponents using their brains and civilian technology. By the end of the show, it was magical girls, beamspam, and nonsensical plot twists for the sake of plot twists.

But yeah, series wasted a lot of good potential and characters like pic related. It really needed to be at least 26 episodes or a VN.
