I can relate to that. I feel like I've been switching the people I hang out with every 2 years. The feeling of emptiness I feel everyy time I think about it is ghastly.

Friendships in anime are over the top.
They constantly worry over each other, feel happiness when they see each other happy, share tragedies.
I think thats one of the main reasons anime is so addicting to many people, because those kind of friendships between more than two people seems hard to attain.

Dont give up anons. I thought the same until a year ago, until one of those acquantances turned out to watch anime aswell, alongside sharing other hobbies, like surfing. All those other people come and go into our lifes, but everyone finds a really good friend which they will then share paths with for a very long time, I believe you two will find that someone aswell.
