Does Lion even exist? The sea of kakeras is nothing but a mechanism of the witches to explain different probabilities, reality is one and only one. I was under the impression that Lion was purely fictional, imagined by either Yasu or Tohya to represent what Yasu could have been. There's also a considerable amount of depression and schizophrenia that I don't think was shown by any of the characters (well, maybe Kinzo did, though Yasu displayed her issues differently).
Though Shannon was presented as a rather clumsy maid, she was also shown to be very clever at times.
